>>Give people the benefit of the doubt guys, even if they do muck up dates a bit.<<

He didn't just muck up the dates a bit, he said he worked at EA for 3+ years when really it would have only been 97-98. That isn't making a mistake, it's blatantly lying - even if he did really work for them.

And maybe he'd get more benefit of the doubt if he didn't act like an ass with comments like this:

"You're going to sit there and tell me that the game came out while I was at EA when I worked on it at Eidos? Let me fill you in on a secret. The game was released in late 99 almost 2000, winter in Boston, I remember it perfectly."

Remembers it perfectly, except he's wrong. Not only does he "muck up dates a bit" but he continues to argue it when shown he's wrong, smooth.

In fact the comment about it being 1999 is already a change in story from this brilliant sample earlier:

"While I worked on thief, and only thief 1, at the same time LG was working on System Shock 2. So again, look at both those games and check the dates. Thats right, 2000. God damn dude give up and do some research before opening up your asshole."

Dude, both Thief 1 and Fallout 2 were released in late 1998.

Since Wiki is not enough for you, here's a link to the Fallout 2 gold announcement dated Oct 23 1998 (it was released a week later):

The game was first called Battlefield Command and then became Wartime Command: Battle for Europe back in 2003.

However Codemasters recently dropped the game and they are unable to use the name, hence it going back to the generic working title.

>>Sunflower is a shitty developer who made the shitty Knights of Honor and told a bald face lie which makes them shittier.<<

Except for two things:

1) Sunflower isn't a developer, they published the game
2) It's a good strategy game when you get into it and is certainly not "shitty". Shitty copy protection though.

For your information the game was developed by Black Sea Studios.

PC Gamer UK gave Doom 3 a 90% IIRC, it was the US one that gave it 94%.

The expansion will have coop - the fact sheet just doesn't bother listing it.

>>Its predicesors did not have mouselook for FPS.<<

Sorry, but that's just flat out wrong. Both BCM and BCM Gold had mouselook for the FPS mode.

>>Oooooo a no name game<<

Defender of the Crown is hardly a "no name". Well perhaps it is to you kids but the original was a legendary classic that sold millions of copies and was released on numerous platforms. A favourite of many.

Actually there is more evidence than this... Go to www.flashpoint2.com and change the TV dial to channel 30, you will get a black and white VTV Network test pattern.

VTV Network = Vietnam Television Network

>>wow, this is unprecedented. A patch before the game hits the shelves.<<

It's been out for almost 6 months in some countries. The US is not the only country you know.

>>Couldn't they have been killed in a field somewhere, and not within a (afaik, forgive my ignorance if I'm incorrect) holy place?<<

As I have said already in this thread. The point is to NOT kill the Sikhs. The level in question takes place at a private hospital on an island. The leader of an extremist cult who stole a nuke is undergoing an operation there and needs to be assassinated - that's the goal of the mission. Now the hospital also contains a shrine/temple for the people at the hospital and the cult in question use it to worship the god Shiva. Not only is it in your best interests to not kill anyone in the temple (as it will lower your score) but you don't even have to enter it at all. The temple architecture was modelled on real temples in India and put in the level to add authenticity to the setting.

The game does not promote racism in any way and has similar levels set all over the world with bad guys (and good guys) belonging to a variety of races and groups. The guy you're supposed to kill in the level in question is not even a Sikh, he is the leader of a terrorist cult devoted to the worship of Shiva/Kali. There have been plenty of games, movies and other fiction which depict crooked/corrupted religious leaders or priests - this is hardly a new thing and in none of these cases does it represent the religion as a whole.

>>It's a bit unfortunate they fell to the standard stereotype of turbaned Sikhs as thugs<<

Actually the Sikhs in the game are just policemen/guards who are guarding a private hospital where an extremist cult leader comes to have an operation. The aim is to not hurt anyone else in the mission except the cult leader and in fact you get rewarded with better ratings for NOT killing any Sikhs. People would know this if they actually played the game...
