I found the demo great. I haven't messed with the controls, just kept them on default. It took a little getting use to looking around in firstperson. Also it's quite easy to turn and move in the direction you want.
At first when you click on and hold on a bridge to the left, it almost looks like you will keep turning because the curser stays on the left, but it actually stops where you clicked and moves forward onto the bridge.
I found the detail of the desert great, you could see forever and the plants were as plentyfull as right upto your feet. The shadows are quite cool too.
My favorite part too is the sound, with 5.1, it just drew you into the world even more.
Looks like it's got some physics with the boards here and there, wonder if they use it in some puzzles, the physics.
I finished Myst and loved it. I was also into graphics then. It was great looking at what they did on a Mac on their own. I still have my journal with drawing and writings.
Riven, I never really finished it, lost interest and then forgot what I was doing.
MystIII, I was enjoying that, but again I put it down for a while too long when other games came out.
Myst3D, why are you guys calling it that, I thought it was called RealMyst. It was also supposed to have a new age included.
Though, with this new game, it was designed for 3D, while converting the original probably made it more confusing to find things, unless you played the first one.
