No one mentions co-op multiplayer. Everyone was upset when hearing that Doom III wouldn't have it, so I think this feature will make Halo look desirable.

I hope they port the co-op feature over to the pc. It should add some spark to the single player campaign.

To show off CG? You do realize no one has a card that does CG, at least not for another couple months until the GeforceFX comes out.

I don't care if it is only for nvidia's cards, but please damn say so on their site. It wasn't even mentioned in any documents with game, just that you need a DX 8.1. They didn't even say if the DX 9 enhancments are in the demo, like the 128bit floating point buffer or that occlusion query. Plus there's no DX9 card out right now from Nvidia on top of the CG.

Since it seems to be just a standard DX 8 game at the moment, they should of had it available on their site to every brand. Then when someone with an old 8500 plays it, they'll think of those CG effects that will be on it and then will gravitate towards purchasing the nvidia card rather than the 9700.

So why did they release this if of all the new features they mention can't be done on any of their customers current hardware.

I'm guessing this demo was released because DX9 was. Although it mentions CG, but the GeforceFX is not out yet and Nvidia does not have DX9 card out yet. I have the 9700pro and Cat 3.0 and DX9, demo gives me an error after trying to open.

The readme says you need DX 8.1 or higher and does not mention only for Nvidia neither at Nvidias site too.

So basically, how you supposed to run this game. Is the DX9 game demo not made for use with DX9 right now or something?

To run faster roll your mouse wheel to adjust it. Forward for speed and back to slow down. Read at least the setting for the controls if not the manual.

Damn that is stupid. If I were to go on some auto theft spree, the judge would say, sorry the GTA3 excuse has been used already. I'd ask the judge, "Has anyone used the movie Gone in 60 seconds yet?" "No" "Okay, I'll use that"

I hate this world, people are idiots.

I don't know why everyone says exploiting woman. If you are going to argue about that, then yell about the damn Girls Gone Wild commercial you see every night on Comedy Central, especially during South Park, and you know there are probably plenty of you kids watching that.

I really don't car about this game. I don't play Tony Hawk or any other sport games, and just because of added adult humor, gags and nudity, I'm not going to pick this up.

Although, if game companies want to do this, then fine, even to xxx rated, they have games like that in Japan, something like Viper, or that Sukura flowers thing (Not much of a game though). Of course when it comes down to that sooner or later, they should be put in a special section, like adult movies. And of course Walmart won't carry anything, do the carry porn?

It will eventually happen. So I don't see the point of arguing about such a silly stupid game.

A replay of Micheal Reagan's talk radio show is talking about the Army game. Check your local AM newstalk stations to tune in. It's too late to call in and voice your opinion. Although, give him a call tomorrow to make your point to millions of people.

Still, the console people are the ones who might get it last. I don't know how soon the Mac version will be out, but probably before something like on the Gamecube.

They keep mentioning how he got the highest marksmanship, expert, on the M-16. He got 36 out of 40 target on a range up to 300 meters. Why don't they mention Americas Army were you learn to do the same thing. I got 36 out of the 40 targets on the M-16 rifle range, even though it's not the same as the real thing, but they'll bring up Doom.

Was there sniping in Doom? On talk back live about a week ago a guy mentioned games too, and said games like Doom teach you to snipe, and he made it sound like it was innocents too. He never mentions they were demons from hell. I swear these people know nothing about games, if they did, they'd be mentioning games like GTA3, SoF 1 and 2. But to mention a game like Doom, that's just laughable, it just shows how unresearched they are.

Well, it looks like they have the guy. He had training in the army, not a video game. I wouldn't even think these two would have a computer or at least a pc game. Still some guy talking about snipers on the news believes that video games are a possibility to why these individuals are desensitized enough to commit these acts. He would say there are on shot snipers, sniper who make there first kill and never could do it again, or some who look down the scope and can't do it. So for this sniper to make so many innocent kills, he mentions games may be a factor.

I don't care how much gore you see in a video game, its still just a bunch of polygons running through a dumb AI program, they're not alive and don't feel pain. To commit these horrible acts, you have to get over the fact that your sites are own a human being, living and breathing, who has feelings, a soul, a life, people who love them and they love, who have dreams, who are just like you. And you are about to take there only life away, for no reason, that is just evil. Until games desensitize you from all that, I'd wish they shut there mouths, I mean movies have more realistic violence, using real actors. I'm also sure novels can be just as violent in there own way.

If a guy or kid is going to go on a killing spree due to a movie, game, or novel, he or she probably was already crazy before making any contact with those sources, they just gave him the idea and it was their sickness already that would make them go through with it. I'm sure that only represents less that .001% of the population. Besides, most crime on the streets, people killing people, are over drugs, needing money for drugs, arguments, and other things gang related and crime, these people probably don't even have a computer, so what desensitized them to kill for their own gain?

Like how Mike Reagon says, "I'm just trying to make sense of this world we live in."
