yea, i dont think Pc Gamer will ship 2 discs for a 5 day trial unless Westwood pays them too, for advertising and all.
i would download this but, 1000mb is a bit much, ill do it during xmas holiday when i have time to burn.

well, seems my little work around doesnt work, the first 1.2 server i joined, it worked, but when that server crashed, bout 20 mins ltr, i try joining other 1.2 servers, but got the same ol' data differs error *sigh*

i also had merciless add-on but
anyone who has the data differs problem should:
1: uninstall BF1942
2: go to your bf directory, which will still be there, and make sure there is nothing there, i had to delete a couple of files and directories.
now it works fine

ur right about the engine, sorry guys. its called the Refractor 2 engine. anyway, i think i see a trend with ppl overextending the life of their engines, like valve. i just want something instead of the same old Q3.
im am not against the Q3 engine, i loved the MOH:AA, i just want something NEW.

yes, i do prefer ut2003 engine, haven't played the actual game though. i play BF 1942 which uses the unreal engine. we need some more innovation.
