They are really trying hard to attract a younger audience. It's overhyped. I think there is not enough skepticism of this game. I predict a mile wide but an inch puddle deep.

They should be embarrassed for charging 900 for a virtual in game good. It's as if they were too busy thinking if they could and never thought much on if they should.

Easy to be magnanimous when you have the Fallout sequel coming out. Don't give them too much credit. It's nice don't get me wrong.

Ugh, again with Blue posting this SJW propaganda bullshit? Is he not aware of what a lying, thieving, morally bankrupt person this bitch is?

I'm done with BluesNews.. time to find another site that doesn't propagate this drivel.

Prediction: Crappy console port with poor PC conrols. Also I saw video summarizing the plot of all the games and it's absolutely terrible. I don't know how anyone could get away with such terrible plotting. It's as if the plot is a joke to see how much shit the writers could get away with. Now it turns out the specter of play to win rears its ugly head. Time will tell if my predictions come true. I have made specific predictions for which I can be hung.

What they list in the patch notes is good and this should be standard for all PC games especially so called triple A titles.

this whole idea of "they said they would!!!!" is just so fucking utterly hilarious to me

are you guys living in a world where everyone always does what they say they will do?? because let me tell you - its very often NOT THE CASE

especially when it comes to businesses, politicians, etc. etc.

i mean, i cant really understand how this is even considered a "good argument"... BECAUSE ITS FUCKING LAUGHABLE
Look up the difference between "is" and "ought". Sure it may be unrealistic to expect people to be honest. People being dishonest is an "is" about reality, and I'm talking about how it "ought" to be. See the difference? You are arguing about how people are dishonest and lie and mislead, and I'm taking about how they "ought" not do that and not deceive modders specifically in this case. So we agree that cd projekt red deceived modders?

GoG puts it on sale quite often. Never used CDkeys.

The game is massive, and wonderfully well done, and people are complaining that the mod tools aren't awesome enough. It's amazing how entitled people are. While I'd like to see what modders come up with, it's usually just reskins. At this point on games, making a texture replacement pack is kind of pointless, and assembling even a 5-minute adventure that's at the same quality level would take modders a terrifying amount of time.

And if it's NOT the same quality level as the base game, it's not worth wasting your time on, is it?
Yes it's a sense of entitlement when you quote what was promised and what was actually delivered.
They promised mod tools, they delivered mod tools. Get over yourself, they don't owe you shit.
You have conveniently ignored what my actual argument was. Let me spell it out: CD Projekt Red said in interviews that they would release redkit for witcher 3. Modders know about what redkit is because redkit was released for Witcher 2 and they know what it could do. They released a far less capable modkit and modders think they have been deceived, justifiably so.

Way too easy to dismiss an argument on the grounds that the people making it aren't owed shit and need to get over themselves. That argument is used when you cannot actually address the actual argument and have to attack the people making it. Feel free to try again maybe this time actually address the argument not the people who are making it.

Has no one learned their lesson? Look at arena commander. Look how long it took that and how buggy it was and continues to be. Devs spend months on tech demos for shows. Why are people still impressed by tech demos?

Now that they are not developing for the lowest common denominator (tablets), maybe it will be better graphically and interface wise since it's PC only.

Tribes 2? Son, let me tell you about Tribes 2. Tribes 2 came out in 2001. You mean Tribes Ascend 2. No way is that coming out ever.

I said "remake".
My mistake.

People aren't simply computers processing calculations and churning out results. They are complex creatures capable of having their own motivation and able to manipulate others by demonstrating - or feigning - expertise and associations.

I'll give you a fictional example:

It's the middle of the AIDS crisis...

Professor Smith, a scholar and well respected medical doctor, stands behind the podium and lectures, "We need to quarantine the infected patients to prevent the spread of the virus!"

Preacher:

An anti-gay and conservative religious preacher stands at the podium and preaches, "I shall quote a highly respected scholar and medical doctor - Professor Smith, 'We need to quarantine the infected patients to prevent the spread of the virus!'"

Activist:

A gay rights activist stands and talks to his fellow activists, "I shall quote a highly respected scholar and medical doctor - Professor Smith, 'We need to quarantine the infected patients to prevent the spread of the virus!'"

Both quote the same person and words. Do you think there is a difference? Or do you believe the words are the same, therefore so is the intent and desired results?
Intent may be different but I won't be cock sure I know the intent because I don't know the contents of people's minds. I can only speculate and sometimes I don't want to do that.

No excuse in 2015 for a site as big as IGN to not have an HTML 5 based video player. Shame!

I hope it's not shovelware but they did develop that Diablo Style Van Hellsing game so there is hope.

If Adolf Hitler said that 3+3=6 it is irrelevant that Adolf Hitler was a moral monster as far as the truth of 3+3=6 is concerned.

The end justifies the means? By that logic it's fine if slavery or vivisection was used to further advance human technological or medical progress as long as the end result benefits the majority or future generations? Sorry .. I don't buy that. Certain wrongs should be 'unconditionally wrong', otherwise we encounter a sort of moral relativism which will lead to sadism, exploitation, and a 'dictatoriship by will of the majority' crushing and abusing the minority or weak members of society; this is the reason why we live in a republic vs. a pure democracy - to prevent such things. I realize I'm taking your statement to the extreme and gettting quite a bit away from the point you made. But, I believe I have a valid counter-point based on a broad historical scale.
But I'm only speaking about the truth of statements and saying they are independent of the person making the statement. Moral relativism and ethical theories have nothing to do with it.
