the reason u and the rest of the gaming public remebers HL storyline is because it was the first game of its kind with such a rich story ...if nolf1/2 came out instead of HL ..i'm pretty sure everyone would still be talkinga bout it and how kewl it was....its just like a feature film..something comes along..lets say PUlp Fiction....everyone reembers that.....after that we see many failed attempts...etc...and then something good comes along again...blah blabh lbah..the cycle goes on...
Event Horizon was a very good film...too bad the British director P.Anderson had to cut the best stuff out of it because of the studio execs..too satanic..etc.....apparently he was goign to release a unrated version but that hasnt happend yet....maybe one day.... P.Anderson went to direct some well known, not necessarly good movies, MK1, REz evil...etc....
