Heh, Pete, i thought the same thing.

Despite that minor issue, I'm pretty excited for this. TA was a lot of fun, and the same idea with today's tech and pushed even more over the top... mmmmmm, goodness.

Wonder if the SC acronym was intentional or accidental? hehe

A word of advice, if you use PayPal to provide a digital service, such as a subscription to online content for example, you better pay close attention to the details of their "protection". In a nutshell, there is none for non-physical product, and they can also slap you with additional fees for chargebacks.

Rogue > Paladin. Any day. You just have to know what you're up against and when to time certain attacks.

I actually have a much harder time taking down a good warrior than a paly, but very few people are willing to play warriors that high.

Also I've been in 2 separate 50v50 PvP raid battles, no server problems at those times. I believe their disconnection and server issues stem from higher level content and DB problems, not overcrowding. (and don't get me wrong, i'm not defending anyone, I play my main on Frostwolf so i know the problems very well... :P)

Unfortunately, the game is so fun that it's really disappointing when you sit down to play and can't login with your favorite character. But if you think running a farm of 80+ servers (remember, a "server" is probably a cluster of hardware too) 24/7 is easy, it ain't. They'll get better at it. The simple market fact is that they will lose subscribers if they don't, and so they will.

No shit on the football schedule thing. Inevitably, the only time a game will go into overtime will be the time i *don't* set tivo for that extra hour. And yet college games are all scheduled for 3:30? WTF?

lol @ #2, nice.

And for the record, Planetside did in fact have a paid expansion in under 6 months of the game's release. Just pointing that out.

WoW is very very fun. Say what you want, but the talented devs at Blizzard must be doing something right for having the fastest selling PC game of all time that also happens to be an MMO. And yes, I am a Blizzard fanboy.

It's very puzzling to me that no one details where that couple hundred million dollars that gets paid to the government actually goes...? Into the big Corporate Criminal Cookie Jar? I want a cookie, dammit, just for the reimbursement of the garbage collection fees for the umpteen zillion AOL discs i have disposed of in my lifetime.

And... how the hell do you defer prosecution for 2 years? What grounds does the government have to offer such a clause? Isn't that like, blatantly unethical and somehow corrupt and illegal in and of itself? WTF!?

I would have been paying for this game back in June. One of the most stable, fun MMOs I've ever played even in beta. Granted some of the later patches took the fun notch down a bit, but still comes out on top of anything else.

How cruel of Blizzard to release on the day I'm leaving town for a week, away from my sweet magical techno crack dealing box of joy that my computer shall soon become. DAMN FAMILY AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY, DAMN THEM TO HELL!

As for not having a character wipe, can you say level 60 dwarven mages? Methinks it'll be a clean slate, as sad as I will be to lose my warlock so close to getting an infernal.

Haven't had much time to play it yet, but I keep describing it as what you'd expect Starcraft 2 to play like. Very fun, very polished. Can't wait to try multiplayer!

My only problem is how to balance this game with Kohan II... Good problem i guess
