I have to agree that tweaker sounds a whole buncha helluva lot like them.
Is that actually a really big deal? Time will tell.
I for one cant believe that the legendary iD would release a game that; doesnt look amazing, doesnt run roadrunner fast (beep beep) and features crappy music/sound.
This game is absolutely certain to raise the bar in the graphics department. Benchmarks using its tech are and will become the standard (or at least one of them).
As far as the sound fx/muzak goes iD's track record IMO isnt too bad...just never up to the graphics though. Heres hoping they can pull it off this go.

Eagerly awaiting this also. In fact the original tribes (free download) is all I've been playing for the last 3 weeks in anticipation (elite renegades rocks).
Theres actually a tribes vengeance mod out, complete with grappling hook for tribes 2 as well. Its pretty good.

Member in proud standing of the asshole club. I shelled out my fifty buch$ for a working 'Battlefield Vietnam'.
I could give two shits for "free content" they should have released a patch right away that fixed the issues with the game so that it actually functioned as advertised.
Why would anyone log on to have a lag filled, buggy, and unbalanced game 'experience'. When one could fire up, say...Unreal Tournament2004 (patch out already by the way) and actually enjoy the shit out of it right out of the box?
