Re: The PROOF Jun 26, 2003, 17:23
Jun 26, 2003, 17:23
Obeidi told CNN that the parts of a gas centrifuge system for enriching uranium were part of a highly sophisticated system that he was ordered to hide, so as to be ready to rebuild the bomb program at some time in the future. (Interactive: How uranium is enriched)

CNN Security Correspondent David Ensor reports that under United Nations sanctions in place in 1991, the concealment of such materials -- and failure to disclose their presence -- would have constituted violations of Security Council regulations.

Yeah babar, what the hell, it's just another broken resolution. They were planning to rebuild nukes in the future, but don't worry they're no threat, it's cool.

Jeeze! Who's trying to get personal now? Can I remind people that this is a message board on Bluesnews. No ones running for office here, and our lives certainly don't depend on it.

The guy is borderline literate at best anyway. My guess is he's 16 or 17, a high school dropout, lower middle class background, homophobe, gun nut, bigoted and racist to boot.

Uuuuh huh, huh.... Well if you must know I'm 36yrs, I was raised Upper middle class, I have a good friend I've known from high school and he is gay. Yes, I do own guns and shoot them at animals, I am married to my wonderful Mexican wife, from Mexico City, I have a 6 year old step son from her(and a baby on the way!). I own a nice house and work as an IT Manager for a large electrical contractor. I make enough money to where my wife doesn't have to work anymore. I did graduate from High School and have 2 years of college.

Chances are you're the one that's 16.

I just don't talk, I walk the walk.

P.S. I do enjoy throwing the verbal smack around, just don't take these things too seriously.

Hey, I will vote for any candidate that is best for our country whether he or she be republican or democratic. The problem with voting Independent right now, is they really don't have a good candidate and don't stand a chance to win. Next problem voting Independent, it takes a lot more votes away from the Republican side. The last thing we need is another Democrat in office with another "Woka Woka Porn Guitar". The Democratic party is sooooo F'd up right now, they are committing political suicide by pandering to their constituents than to middle America, where the rubber meets the road.

You think it's a coincidence that 10% of the people control 95% of the wealth in the U.S.?

A: America has a large middle class, much larger than most countries. Freedom means earning and keeping your own money. I doesn't make sense to give people a money back from taxes, if it wasn't taxed from them in the first place. I don't grudge people for making money, many of them give money back in the form a charities. If you really want to F things up, give it to the government to run.

It's ironic you say liberal talk shows are all about whinging and complaining, when that really fits conservatives much more nicely.

A: Uh whinging? You mean whining?(remember your the educated one)
A:Uh ok, whatever. didn't I just say this about liberals? (you're it!, no, no, you're it!, no, no, no, you're it!) duh.

See, democratic values are all about compromise and what's best for everyone involved. It's known as the social contract-something learned in college-so most republican voters will never know what that is.

A:Oh this is the "We are liberals and more educated than the masses elitism" you went to school with a bunch of hippie liberal professors, studying beer 101, and now you know what is good for everyone, cause you are more educated. You sound like your straight from PBS radio! Well, buddy guess what? People do have brains(even they guy that takes out your trash, and the maid that may clean your house) and they think on their own and don't need YOUR help, nor do they want it!

Conservative values on the other hand are more akin to a child throwing a tantrum. 'Gimme, gimme, gimme!' and 'I don't want to share!'
You don't undestand the importance of compromise. Why tax cuts aren't always a good thing. Why being selfish to the point of destroying the planet we all must inhabit is a bd thing. That the environment is really nothing more a terrarium, and when it fails so does everything else. That going to war under a false pretext to acquire resources to make your friends richer is immoral.

A: Another spelling mistake O'wise one, undestand = understand. O'wise one.... I suggest F7 for spell check(oh that's right let me guess your on a Macintosh doh!)

See, democrats discuss and debate these issues. Conservatives on the other hand, rail and whine and throw tantrums about them.
Conservative talk show hosts do that, because they know it's what amuses their audience. Much like Jerry Springer.

A:Yeah, they discuss and debate until body parts start flowing down a river, and they never do anything until it is too late.

A:Uh, dude? Jerry Springer IS a liberal.

As someone who has a degree in PolySci, it's entirely laughable when people turn to morons like Bill O'Reilly for his opinion. The guy is a tabloid journalist. Always has been, still is and always will be.

A: I am happy to see it's so laughable, if it wasn't such a threat to your liberal way of life you would have never replied to this post, but alas, YOU lie, about yourself and who you truly are(a bitter graduate who can't stand seeing people like me, make more money than you and without your help).

-SPanker has Spankend your pie-hole.

P.S. I am registered independent, call me the swing vote, you dems are in trouble next election. Time to pull your elitists heads out of your rumps.

Looks like we have some angry liberals who can't stand, after years of having their way with the media, things going the more conservative route. The reason why liberal talk shows are not successful, is because they don't make any sense. Liberal talk shows are at their best when they are cutting down the establishment and whining and complaining.

Re: Water Jun 10, 2003, 12:49
Jun 10, 2003, 12:49
R.O. water has a 1:1 waste to product ratio with the current filters that are out. When you go to wash the glass you just drank out of, you waste 4:1. So, you tell me what is more wasteful? The fact is: To clean anything(your car, clothes, boat....etc.) you have to waste water or how else do you make it clean? Water is cheap and it's the "universal solvent" so use it and keep things clean, don't listen to the liberal environmental ninnies.

The main problem with tap water is: it has chlorine in it for disinfection. When chlorine kills a bug(by burning it) or when it mixes with dead organic material that naturaly exsists in the water, trihalomethanes are created, which is a known cancer causing agent. I would argue that all you really need to do to tap water is carbon filter it--- at least, it may not taste as good(because of the high salt content) but it is better than plain tap water.

Robin William's Peace Plan

This is reprinted from a e-mail I got from a friend of mine in Tuson AZ.

Leave it to Robin Williams to come up with the perfect plan...what we need
now is for our UN Ambassador to stand up and repeat this messae.

Robin William's plan...(hard to argue withthis logic!)

I see a lot of people yelling for peace but I 'have not heard of a plan for
peace. So, here's one plan:

1. The US will apologize to the world for our "interference" in their
affairs, past and present. We will promise never to "interfere" in their
affairs again.

2. We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with
Germany, South Korea and the Philippines. They don't want us there. We
would station troops at our borders. No more sneaking through holes in the

3. All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave.
We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be
gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of who or where they are.
France would welcome them.

4. All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 day
visits unless given a special permit. No one from a terrorisrt nation would
be allowed in. If you don't llike it there, change it yourself, don't hide
here. Asylum would not ever be availabvle to anyone. We don't need anyu
more cab drivers.

5. No "students" over age 21. The older ones are the bombers. If they
don' attend classes, they get a "D" and it's back home, baby.

6. The US will make a strong effort to become self sufficient energy wise.
This will include developing non polluting sources of energy but will
require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness. The caribou
will have to cope for a while.

7. Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for
their oil.. If they don't like it, we go someplace else.

8. If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will
not "interfere". They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds, rain,
cement or whatever they need. Besides, most of what we give them gets
"lost" or is taken by their army. The people who need it most get very
little, anyway.

9. Ship the UN Headquarters to an island some place. We don't need the
spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, it would make a good homeless
shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.

9b. Use the buildings as replacement for the twin towers.

10. All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one can
call us "Ugly Americans" any longer.

Now, ain't that a winner of a plan.

The Statue of Liberty is no longer saying 'Give me your poor, your tired,
your huddled masses.' She's got a baseball bat and she's yelling, 'You want
a piece of me?'" - Robin Williams.

While driving in Texas I look out of my rear view mirror and catch a view of my fully stocked gun rack. Then I sit back and take a long draft of the cold brew in my hand and go "now this is freedom." Ain't no freak'n gangstas around here, cuz if there were we would do them ranch style.
We should teach people to be more responsible for their action at an early age, instead of trying to "not hurt their feelings". This bring the whole Scott Peterson thing to mind, how the F**K do the parents keep backing their son up? When I screwed up in life, my parents were the first to let me know about it, and I'm thankful for that. What's with everyone always kissing their kids Asses and blaming it on everything but them?

Almost all of the little we know of Jesus' life is contained in the four Gospels, written decades after his death by his followers. Non-Christian references to Jesus are so meagre as to be almost non-existent, says John Meier, a Catholic University of America biblical scholar and a former president of the Catholic Biblical Association.

Correction: The book of John was written while he(John) was still alive, which wouldn't be decades after. Just had to point out that ID10T ERROR.

Saddam Starred in Gay Porn Films!
Thursday April 10, 2003

KUWAIT CITY -- Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein has been caught with his pants down -- literally. A shocking 1968 porn film has surfaced, in which the flamboyant strongman appears performing raunchy homosexual acts!

The image quality of the grainy 16mm film, uncovered by the Kuwaiti secret police, is poor -- but experts who've taken a close look at the hairy-chested actor are "100 percent certain" it is a younger, trimmer Saddam.

"There is no doubt in my mind that this is Saddam -- there's no mistaking those eyes and that distinctive nose," declares Hussein biographer Sadiq al-Sabah of Kuwait, who's seen the eye-popping footage first-hand.

"It may be hard to believe that a man who now leads one of the most powerful nations in the Middle East once acted in blue movies, but to anyone familiar with how reckless and sexually promiscuous Saddam was in his youth, this will come as no surprise. It's also a known fact that the young, desperate soldier did anything for money.

"Saddam appeared in as many as 85 of these films under a variety of stage names, most frequently Omar Studdif," reveals the researcher.

Still photographs from the sizzling XXX-rated film, La'iba al-Waladaani (The Two Boys Played), were leaked to a Kuwait news magazine after authorities found it amid a stash of illicit porn in the vault of a recently deceased sheik.

Release of the pictures has resulted in howls of protest from Baghdad.

"President Hussein is the manliest of men. He would never behave in such a repugnant manner," says an Iraqi spokesman. "This is CIA propaganda."

But rumors that Saddam appeared in gay porn films in his younger days have dogged him for decades and almost torpedoed his political career when he was a rising star in the ruling Baath Socialist party.

"He was able to squelch the rumors in the past, but now it looks like the Kuwaitis have found the smoking gun," says a State Department source.

Al-Sabah claims that Saddam, then a struggling law student, acted in porn to make ends meet -- and because he was addicted to gay sex.

In the newly uncovered 86-minute prison flick, Saddam, then just 34, plays a naive young peasant who is wrongly convicted and sent to jail. He is initiated into homosexuality by a series of older and more experienced cons.

"Saddam's acting in the picture is actually quite good," al-Sabah notes. "One scene, in which he buries his face in a pillow and cries, is so touching you almost can forget you're watching a low-budget sexploitation film." -- By MIKE FOSTER

Yeah Babar, thanks for proving to us again that the U.N. is useless in this situation. The point of the article was, that they WOMD are hidden extremely well. Just like the one facility that they recently found, that had all the nuclear waste under it. The U.N. inspectors were there but never went down stairs? Pathetic. So far with 300 suicide vests, a known terrorist, tanks and weapons in schools and hospitals, and Iraqis greating or troops with flowers....... you still have a problem with this whole thing? Which brings me to the last question(before you fade into history) Are you stubborn, a communist, an ignoranamus, or all of the above?
