I am a 19 yr old dude, in Computer Science in the University of Ottawa. I am a HARDCORE gamer,(skills were born in the DOOM era) Have been playing and loving all of those 3d shooters, and making maps for many of them.

Who cares, I mean I know that 64 bit will be much nicer, but I will probably end up running the game 32-bit on those processors, just like I run the game 16-bit on my 32-bit now;
Reason for this is for smoother gameplay, to keep me OWNING all of you newbies at MY game.

the doom.exe makes me go to a windowed mode of doom3, and the menu lets me only click on "single player" and "quit". Once i click on singleplayer, new game, it crashed on a dll error. whats wrong? the file I downloaded was 364 mb, and I have all sounds and files....

The drivers asks for a file called nv4_disp.inf or sumtin, I tried much but nothig worked. To me, they work 25% less efficiently !

I cant believe they are making a DOOM movie. I could not stand seeing a company RUIN and MOCK it's backbone classic game like DOOM with a movie based on it, OBVIOUSLY destined to be a flop (i.e. Wing commander game = good/movie = pittyful). It will dishonor the classic and oldschool aspect of the game. Well, I guess it's all about money and biz, is'nt it?

Well, the patch might be "great" and stuff, but it hasent fixed my bug yet...
Each time I sart a new game, I cant see the console, or any other text related icons or graphics, except the 3d environment, and my gun. I am then forced to switch on and off the console option again and again, until the console and text magically turns up again after 9 or 10 times.
it might just be my video card; I'll try downloading more drivers for it.
