Yup, agreed. I haven't really enjoyed any games recently unless I wasn't sober. This can be anoying, 'cause I play worse off my face Maybe too old. Maybe just jaded after seeing the doom3 movies. Maybe jaded cause I got a geforce3 ages ago, and can count the number of games that actually use vertex and pixel shaders on 1 hand. NOLF2 might rouse some interest..., but generally I'm waiting for doom.

Remember that Tim said the Doom3 is scalable, and I bet they're holding a lot back because the engine will push mid and lower end machines too much. Once 2gig geforce4 machines become standard, say end of next year, I'll bet they release an add-on pack or something. And of course, I pretty sure map makers are gonna go sick with this game, and co-op, well, after messing around with the Omaha Beach MOH:AA mod, and seeing how much it messes with the sripted sequences, I'm not holding my breath for co-op. Then again, OpFlash did co-op almost flawlessly...
