I don't think we're being paranoid.....like I said, just an idea. Nothing to far fetched seeing that Vivendi DOES want to sell its games division and M$ has the history of buying very successful game franchises. It would be a win win situation for BOTH sides, no matter how much anyone hates M$, they have the cash to throw this kinda deal and can assure any game developer the resources to make even better games than before. If you want to make better games, you need more money and if you want to sell more consoles, you gotta have better games. Nothing paranoid.....just looking at the business side of things. Now that Halo is coming to my Mac and Windoze, I'm confident M$ will keep comp. users in the loop.....but the full year wait stinks. If I were a betting man, which I am, I'd go w/ my little conspiracy theory AND the intro of a new game. WOW is too close to go console only.

Here's a sick idea. Since supposedly this show is for consoles only, I'm going to throw out a console idea. As we all know Bungie is being held hostage by M$ and made the most successful console game in a LONG time w/ Halo. Since M$ has the money AND Vivendi is looking to pawn off Blizzard to relieve themselves of credit problems......Blizzard will go the way of Bungie and join M$ to help take over the world. XBox is going to go online and is the only console to have a broadband only connection. What better way to show off the new online capabilities of Xbox than w/ a Massively somethin' somethin' Played Online Game? Just a thought
