So was Roosevelt wrong just because a passage of time has occured? - "Dec. 7th, a day that will live in Infamy." - is Hitler or Stalin or whoever any less evil just because it happened long ago and we forget?

Hey, O.J. was years ago too, so let's make a cut-a-womans-throat-from-ear-to-ear sim!
Which brings up another point, why hasn't someone snuffed OJ yet? the Noto points alone would be worth it.

And What If... a developer made a 9/11 sim where you could play both sides... and then that developer had his children murdered in revenge. Would it be "wrong" for another developer to come along later and include that child-murder scenario in His game?

and why hasn't someone come along and made an African Mutilation game where you play various tribal warlords and cut off opposing factions childrens arms and legs? cmon guys it's all just a game right? right??

alas and alack, iAnonymity prevents us from knowing who the various posters work for, though BRM does indeed sound like a salaried employee of the company/product in question.

We are delighted to be working with Destiny's Child and Square Enix to roll out this innovative new game," said Thomas Hesse, president of Global Digital Business for SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT. "DC Groove will give fans a creative and fun way to connect with one of the most phenomenally talented groups of all time, and the opportunity to experience the thrill of state-of-the-art mobile gaming."

"The beautiful thing about this project is that the main people involved in creating it are youthful. The same goes for the artists, many of their fans, as well as our target gamers," said Shuhei Yamaguchi, Mobile Producer for Square Enix, Inc. "It's a game for the young, created by the young. I'm confident, this landmark project that expands the casual genre of mobile games, will be a hit."
bwahaha i bet these Corporate chimps don't even know what the game is about, or who "Destiny's Child" is.

yup just more Corporate boilerplate BS.
The suits that run EA couldn't install and run one of their own games if their lives and stock options depended on it.

If you read their Bios, all the founders of this company are a bunch of Marketing droids, helping clients like Miller Brewing and Kellogs make a bunch of money.

Atari Landfill
That has almost become an equal to the Roswell crash in terms of hearsay.
and it started quite early on, i was working at Atari as a technician in the early 80's and even then people in the company would mention it as an example of what was wrong with Atari. One guy would know for sure if there is such a dump - Chris Crawford - former Atari VCS genius game programmer and looney eccentric now living in oregon or washington with his llamas... but he might intentionally lie just to mess with people's heads.
