a tv that I had to turn the channel with a pliers
ahh the GudOleDaze *creak* of black and white analog tv with big klunky mechanical channel tuners and "fine tuning" and "contrast" and "vertical hold" and "horizontal hold" knobs that you could fiddle with all day long. Heck in the MidWest you could de-tune your TV on channel 2 to detect approaching tornados! (true!)

The Outer Limits "we control the vertical, we control the horizontal" has no meaning to todays digital videeoh kidz.

Humanity's greatest challenge in this 21st century: The Future - Milton Friedman's corporate capitalism or Gene Roddenberry's secular humanism. Cast 1 vote here for the latter.

Also adventure role playing games are the perfect genre for episodic titles
Properly done (oy there's the catch), Episodes are how everything in life is encapsulated for understanding. Comix, film, radio, and tv have embraced and perfected the form, games will (must) follow eventually.

lets ban everything we don't like or understand
the cool thing is, the techsmart kids will figure out a way around any stupid "ban" and render it ineffective anyway.

if they still have to pay the US workers more then the Indian workers, why outsource in the first place then
probably to satisfy a US Foreign Trade Regulatory requirement, not unlike the requirements placed on Japanese auto companies. Toyota/Nissan/Honda/etc have auto assembly plants in the US because they Have to, not because they Want to.

edit: just ran into outsourcing first-hand recently - it seems Office Depot outsources their Corporate Accounts order processing, i tried to order bulk quantities of printer paper and was defeated by someone who didn't comprehend the meaning of the word "District". the score so far - Office Depot Bangalore: 1 My printer: 0

What would Jesus do?

He would denounce these videogame "christians" as frauds and modern day Pharisees, who are nothing more than con-men using God to amass wealth and political power.

John 2:13-16
...
15 And He made a scourge of cords, and drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen; and He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables;
16 and to those who were selling the doves He said, "Take these things away; how dare you turn My Father's house into a place of business. "

bah, yet another argument against the feeble 9mm round.

Had the parking lot owner been carrying a .40 or .45 or .357 or .44 this piece of shyt would be fcking dead Dead DEAD and there'd be no bullsht discussion over civil "rights".

If you're going to carry a firearm to protect yourself at all, then carry something that will do the job.

Read the history of the .38 cal round in the Philippines against the Morro tribes and why the Army switched to the .45; or review the infamous FBI "Miami Shootout" where the 9mm is proven ineffective in a shootout.
