Tim, you said exactly word for word how i felt about AC3. AC3 is the first AC game that has not gripped me so i have not finished it.

totally feel the same way about Jesper Kyd too. his music added so many layers to the previous games.

L4D Thriller was crappy

just a silly amaturish garry's mod thing. i was hoping for a properly animated L4D animations

Ubisofts DRM was a stupid idiotic move that failed at the start.

but please dont let it put you off a game. I nearly didnt buy AC2 due to the DRM issues, which i also encountered at the begining. but it was very quickly sorted.

im pleased as Assassins Creed 2 really is a brilliant game that is worth the hassle of DRM. if you buy it now youll have no issues as long as you have an internet connection (who doesnt)

AC2 is a long game too one of the longest plays i have had recently what with so many short games of late

i have grown to love the soundtrack from AC2 also, brings me right back to the game which took me two weeks to finish and i still didnt complete all the side missions. (it lets you finish them when the main sotry has finished)

I paid £22 for AC2 at amazon uk. i thought id dislike the game but its one of the best this year with an excellent story, fluidity and gameplay

yeap. i got PC zone too. the game is a great surprise

did anyone notice at the beginning when the guy walks in and a close up shot has him shooting a guy in the stomach. well it should be in the stomach which is where the guns pointing yet the bullet seems to have entered above the barrel. lol. also its a shame they couldnt get max payne lookalike - johnny knoxville to play the lead instead of ferris bueller. and im sure they could have added bullet ripples with a home pc and after effects instead of just using a slower shutter speed to simulate bullet time. lastly i think the hand falling at the end should have had blood on it. and the bullet effects i think should have had blood packs too for a bit of blood spraying mayhem...

anyhoo.. just my 2 cents maybe he can improve by making a video for Postal 2

from what ive heard..

when released you can join a corporation which are listed when you are docked in a station but they are currently unavailable in the beta it seems. these corporations i assume will then send you on missions.

at the moment im also just collection minerals from the asteroids plus occasionally getting blown up byt the Angel ship.

ps. nice menus eh in the game! a future OS maybe

as for any other thing im not sure of as ive only had it 2 days now. and all i can figure out is to sell the minerals at the markets.

im currently Beta testing this game (phase 6) was accpeted last week

it still needs some ironing out and to finish teething. lots of errors appearing. but they are very quick at fixing them when they are reported. its gonna ROCK when its released.
