I'm happy to hear they are doing well.
Their business model appear to be the exact opposite of EActivision
Good for them.

I was going to get the 903 myself when I've purchased the 900 but the charging mat isn't available in Canada.

Logitech resurrects its classic MX518 gaming mouse.

I've absolutely loved the MX518 but part of it was the optical sensors the mouse was using. Combined with the ergonomics it was by far my favorite mouse of all time.

Fast forward to 2019 I am so used to my G900 I don't know if I can go back to wired mice again.
I understand why they've made the new MX518 wired but I feel they've missed an opportunity by not making it wireless.

If the 1660Ti release date really is Feb 22 (3 days from now) it would have been nice to see some actual confirmed information in that article, not just rumors and speculations.

Meh, depending on where you buy it not hugely worth it since many places have the game at 10% off for pre-order. Probably why they aren't doing it with Greenman gaming despite that site now requiring linking your uplay account to greenman account.
That is incorrect
GreenManGaming is also offering the free games

I am looking forward to check this out when I get home from work. Based on videos it didn't look all that much different from the first game, but that doesn't necessarily mean it sucks.

I did like the first game. If they've improved upon it, I'll probably be getting this.

On to the actual game! First up, it forces HDR on. No choice. Whatever.

Motion blur’s setting should be called High/Low, because it’s clearly not off.

The menus are hot trash on mouse/KB. Clearly designed for controller and not one person took a look at it in a PC environment.

The controls on M/KB are also trash. No excuses, Darks, it’s complete shit. When flight IMMEDIATELY feels right on a controller, but feels like I’m only making suggestions on m/Kb, it’s shit. I don’t care if they “already fixed it” in the full game. Show me that in the demo or my money stays in my pocket.

The game is gorgeous. The gameplay is very much Destiny, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. There’s very little that really makes me want to play it again today.
Pretty much my conclusion also.
I've tried to get into it but all the technical issues, including input lag from my mouse just ruin it.
Controller seems to work better.

Dead enemies disappear from the ground in 5 seconds after killed is also a big turn off for me.

For $80CDN it's a hard pass. I rather play Destiny. At least that game runs well on my PC with the controls of my choice.

Gawd, is it showing my age that I don't even care about Anthem at this point?

It's nothing particular about the game, EA or anything else, but looking at some of the demo footage, it's just a big old 'meh' to me.
Same here. I'll check out the demo just for shits and giggles but tbh I am more excited for the Civ6 expansion than for Anthem

I still use an old build of Winamp from before that went to hell for music, but otherwise I think even VLC would be better than WMP for that.
Same here I use Winamp also.
I have a few DSD albums that the Winamp plugin didn't want to play nice with so I installed MusicBee and enjoying that for music.
It's free and works really well.

Love Endless Space 2

I will try Endless Legend. Since it's free to play this weekend, might as well.

Wow that is a lot of money.
It doesn't sound like they can financially keep this up for too much longer without a large amount of cash infusion from their "sponsors"

I'l going to make this off the wall prediction that any future plans with the Prison Architect IP by Paradox will include a metric ton of DLC.
as well as support for user created mods
Paradox is one of the companies that doesn't bother me with their DLC because they allow user mods.
I understand they need some revenue to keep supporting the game and if the DLC not to my liking I won't buy it. Simple

I have a feeling, seeing how Microsofts cloud crap exploded, that they are planning to offer workstations and gaming rigs via cloud and get rid of Windows completely for the end consumer.

I'm planning to build a new gaming rig this year. My trusty i5-2500k is getting old. Trying to decide on the CPU if I should go AMD or Intel.
I've had the 2500k overclocked but I doubt I'll be overclocking the new CPU much.

Anyone here with Ryzen CPU happy or not happy?
We shoud have NEWER AMD cpu's this year. Burrito of Pigeons (BoP) Will be building a system using one of the new buggers and god willing so will Me! Something tells me they're ok. Wink

https://www.techradar.com/news/amd-is-now-selling-twice-as-many-processors-as-intel

https://www.hardocp.com/reviews/cpu_processors/

For gaming at high resolutions, you're GPU limited, so your CPU doesn't really matter. At lower resolutions, Intel is better, but you're getting so many frames that it doesn't really matter.

https://www.anandtech.com/show/9793/best-cpus

Thanks guys.
I am not on the 4k bandwagon yet, still gaming at 1080p
I'll wait and see the new AMD CPUs and how the pricing is before I make a decision. Not in a huge hurry.
Plan is to build it sometime this year.
