In the first 10 minutes he talks about the Ryzen CPU with a Gigabyte mobo would not even start. He switched to different bios versions, swapped to another mobo still no dice until he went to a different brand mobo all together.
Ryzen looks awesome in every aspect but if there are compatibility issues with games I am not sure it is for me. I do pretty much nothing else on my rig but game. I don't stream or photo edit or none of that.
I get it RDR2 is a shit port so I am not judging the Ryzen CPU based on a single game having compatibility issues. It is just something that kinda turns me off buying AMD

I am in the same boat, rocking an i5-2500k CPU and GTX 970.
RDR2 is a dog on my system.
Was hoping to upgrade during this upcoming Black Friday, but I may just grab a 1660Ti for now to tie me over until next year when the second gen Ray Tracing video cards come out.

I am getting a lot of stutter and 5-6 seconds pauses during gameplay. The audio keeps playing but the screen freezes.
Changed the API from the default Vulkan to DX12 it helped a bit but it's still there.
Hope there will be some patches to address this soon.

I don't find G2a or CDkeys to be that much cheaper than legitimate sites. In case of CDkeys they often sell games more expensive than Steam, which makes zero sense to me

As for Watch Dogs, I never cared for the whole yo dog, hackerz are so cool lolz XxXx theme the second one had, and I didn't hear too many good things about the first one which I thought was going to be like a GTA game focusing on stealth and hacking.
I'll keep an eye on this third game and see how it is, but I doubt I'll be bothering to get it unless it impresses the hell out of me.
