The author of that article would probably find installing games onto the xbox hard drive extremely difficult as well.
Better stick with mobile games.

I do agree Elite makes long range travel boring. I'm not a big fan of their supercruise implementation.
and long range travel in No Man's Sky will not be boring?
I am not a huge fan of the long range trade runs in Elite either but there aren't too many space games that makes that task don't feel like a chore.
In EVE Online you can literally watch TV while you do long distance trade runs in high sec areas.

It will be interesting to see what NMS has to offer in terms of "content" and fun factor.
From the videos they've showed so far, I am not convinced I'd be entertained beyond the first 2 hrs

It all sounds good on paper.
We'll see how well it's executed.
The last F1 game was garbage on the PC.

My plan is the name the first planet I land on Cutter in honor of its unruly and harsh landscape.

You can name all the creatures stuff like "Wire Fraud" and "Class Action Lawsuit" and other good Cutter catchphrases.

Indeed. Florp is a good name for a fish.

Those who purchased this game get a free upgrade to the free to play version of the game. But only for a limited time, after that a premium will be charged for the upgrade!
Those that purchased the Season Pass, well those people get the real deal, the full treatment. They get a brand spanking new shiny super duper awesome "XxX Founder Status XxX" premium forum badge

I'm not sure if it's a goner, but my Herman Miller Aeron chair suffered a serious setback this morning. A few years ago I found a way to keep the left arm of the chair from gradually lowering itself, but this morning the left arm of the chair broke off altogether. Broke is actually a mild description, it basically exploded.

Thank you for the comic relief this morning good sir. I've got coffee spraying through my nose reading this.

Good luck with your chair hunt.
Some of the higher end office chairs are bloody expensive.

Savings are not always passed off to the consumer, sometimes they are just profits.

Do you find it a coincidence that very few AAA games are developed in Russia?
There are games like World of Tanks and many other "free to play" games that doesn't seem to give US customer any discounts vs Russian customers.

I don't find the Russian MMO games to be cheaper to subscribe to vs games that are developed elsewhere.
Games and software prices in general however are seem to be the lowest in Russia for some strange reason.
I understand it shouldn't be the same around the globe but I don't think it should be half or third of the cost vs US pricing either.

Care to show us some figures?

No, I don't.

Why is it that you think jobs move "offshore"? Why are there exchange rates for currencies? Because things like labor are cheaper in other countries, which is why they have no purchasing power, which is why they need lower regional pricing... connect the dots.

Don't "rolleyes" at me if you don't understand basic economic concepts you should have learned in HS.

Lol dude, maybe you should read up on engineering principles first before teaching someone how to connect the dots....The fact of the matter is that data centre costs have nothing to do with pricing. Like you said the reasons are economics, or rather to be exact greed. Companies will price products cheaper in markets where they can't sell them at full price. Thats it. Fullstop.

If the cost of jobs and data centers had a lot to do with game prices we would be paying a lot less for games developed in Russia vs in the US.
Doesn't seem to be the case.

I usually find better deals on cdkeys.com or GMG with their coupons.
Steam is usually the last place I find good prices.

I was trying to figure what the hell was going on with Ed's shirt in that interview video.
As for the game. It's a preorder for me.
GMG has a 23% off code thinkking of getting it through them.
