Why let Microcrap benefit, and drop the IQ level on Playstation online gaming further.
Interesting analogy, wonder how you came up with this conclusion.
There are dumbasses playing online games on every platform.

Romer-G was introduced in 2014, and is still in their top of the line keyboards. Cherry MX has remained in their mid-tier ones. They never left, and the idea was always that it would take a while for Romer-G to trickle down, and for consumers to fully accept them (if they are truly better.) I use a Razer BW Ultimate, which has their own mechanical switches, which I like quite a bit.

I was obviously joking, but my point is that if they want to sell their own switches (like Razer) than they should stop selling the competitions.

They still have the 710+ with Cherry switches.

Logitech:
"We are moving away from Cherry MX switches to introduce our own much improved Romer G switches which is way better than Cherry MX"

6 months later

"We are excited to introduce our new and improved keyboard with Cherry MX switches!!!"

Make up your mind Logitech and throw in a freakin wrist rest with your keyboards.
I still don't see any compelling reason to replace my G710+

This game unfortunately sucks. There are like 10 people playing at any given time. Supreme Commander is still the best (AND most up-to-date) game in this genre.
+1
Although, Homeworld remastered and Homeworld Deserts of Kharak both pretty awesome strategy games imo.

The real name of this game should be "Crowd Funder Deluxe."

They could totally make a game out of that, in the vein of "game development tycoon".

You've run out of funds this month! Do you:

A) Create another vanity ship and charge $500

B) Start an argument with Drek Smert, in hopes of you wanking each other off for attention

C) Offer a "sale" on existing items and insurance

D) Take the remaining money and disappear into the Caribbean with your actress wife

You should do a kickstarter for a new game idea like that.
Call it Christ Roberts Sim '16 or something.

Why is this still being allowed?

This Crowd funding should have been disabled long ago.

This company needs to get investigated by the FBI, CIA or whomever does this sort of thing for criminal fraud charges.

You cant take crowd funding, and sell ships for hundreds of dollars and have obvious plans to sell the game retail. There is something very wrong with all of this and it needs to get shut down.

Where is the money going, how much is Roberts pocketing himself, how many new cars does he own now, what is he paying his developers.. etc..

This whole thing stinks to high heaven.

Pretty good summary of past SC threads.

This announcement was a bit surprising.
What I am hearing this is far from being finished and the game feels empty.
Depending on the finished game reviews, I might pick it up when it goes on sale.

I didn't install the ones they've just came out with yesterday

Those are apparently incredibly bad, massive performance hits to everything, Windows won't boot for some people, ect. Not sure if you heard that yet, but it would be a good idea to avoid them.
Yep, I've heard that is why I skipped them.
I think Nvidia replaced those now or removed from their site.
Either way the ones I am currently using work just fine so no reason to "update" my drivers.
Not to mention for some reason Nvidia drivers screw up my Creative Labs drivers I've mentioned in another thread so I usually skip a few driver versions before I download the latest and greatest.

Yet people are giving it average to negative reviews everywhere that a collective score can be gathered.

Which of these people weren't able to try the beta? Surely they knew how it'd play?
Nothing new there.
People beta test BF games and CoD games and everything else under the sun yet when the game comes out they give it negative reviews.
Makes no sense to me.
If you didn't like the game in beta why the fuck did you buy it?

I'm really enjoying it as well. However, at level 7, I'm still using the starter weapons (although modded). I can't seem to find anything that increases the DPS over them. I should probably head to the DZ, but dammit, I want to improve the base! I suppose I could .. *gasp* .. buy a weapon from the vendor instead of waiting until one drops.

Now if I only had more time to play.

don't sell your gear/weapons to vendors, recycle it and use the materials at the crafting station. You can convert green materials into blue etc.
Found that out the hard way

I am running a single 970 and everything set to the max, 1080p.
The benchmark tool gave me avg 60fps
Might have vsync enabled forgot to check.

Not sure why you are getting bad performance with your cards.
I am running Win10 and the second last Nvidia drivers.

That's interesting, I've got way better weapons as drops and just doing missions.
It's nice that you can carry your mods from one weapon to another too.

Same here, mostly solo but teamed up for a mission with another player and we did it on hard diffculty.
It was fun. Even without mics we were able to complete the mission. Although I've needed to be revived a few times.
At the end of the mission the other player was doing the clapping animation while I was fumbling around looking for the keys for the other animation.
He probably thought I am a rude jackass for not thanking him for the help.

It was good times anyways.
I like the game, regardless of what everyone thinks of it.

Let the hate flow through you

You've been here for a long time, you know how it goes on blues. First, this is a new IP, that means it's not an HD classic remake. Second it's Ubisoft. Third, it's a console game.

MOAR HATE!!!!!
Oh I know how it goes, game is still fun even if it ticks off all those boxes.
