Paranoid Jack wrote on Oct 4, 2016, 00:53:
As far as the single player aspect goes... if Wildlands single player with AI team mates plays anything like the original GR then I'm all in. But we have yet to see it played in single player by anyone... not sure how the AI will behave when not under direct control. I want/need more details about the rules of engagement options for the AI. I also want to see how well it plays when switching from one member of the team to another. I assume you will be able to do that and not be forced to stay in control of just your character. The first GR single player was amazing for it's time. If they can recreate that magic it would be fantastic.

As far as the Co-Op goes it looks pretty good already. But I would like to know if there are several difficulty settings that will increase the AIs awareness/effectiveness to provide for a tougher game while playing with three friends online in Co-Op. Some of that stealth gameplay made the AI seems a bit blind and deaf.

I doubt you'll find info for most of your questions until the game comes out and you watch some let's plays on YouTube or something.
PR departments usually shows you the fluffy eye candy stuff, not the ins and outs of the different options and Ai behaviors

I don't think they've had Bots in a Battlefield game since... BF1942? Maybe one or two after that? It's been awhile anyway.
They have bot matches in Battlefront

They have the coop survival modes, and scripted missions, but no all out match bots, as far as I can recall. I have like 6 hours into Battlefront though, so I may be wrong.
Yeah they do have bot matches skirmish mode now, completely offline against bots. 32v32 iirc
Hopefully BF1 will do the same. It's a great way to learn the maps and have some "stress free" mp games.
One of the reasons I fire up CoD every now and then and play against the bots.

For US only I'm sure. Amazon's stance on Canadian Prime customers has consistently been "Go fuck yourselves".
Nope, I can confirm, it works perfectly fine for Canadian customers as well. Amazon prime also gives 20% off game preorders at the moment.

The 20% discount also applies to new games within two weeks of their release. You can wait for reviews and still get the discount
That's good to know, thanks!

Mafia III

Keeping my eye on that one. I loved 2.
Same here
Too bad all the gameplay footage on YouTube I found so far were console ones.
Looked so bland and uninteresting graphically.
I've loved all the physics and destruction in 2. I'm not sure I'd pay full price for 3 though.

I just hope it's not dismissed as a gimmick by then.
Problem is, the consoles are not nearly ready for VR yet Sony pushes the VR to the masses.
So what will the regular Joe see when he tries out the VR headset on his PS4?
Jaggies, stutter overall shit experience.
His reaction won't be that his PS4 isn't ready for VR, his reaction will be VR sucks ass and it's just a gimmick\

I feel most of the VR market is going to be riding on the PC market for a while (until consoles catch up in 5-10 years) where the initial cost to have a decent VR ready machine and VR headset at this point is just way too much $.

I'm not sure I'd want any more "powerful surprises" from Samsung at this point.

One of their washing machines blew up in spectacular fashion too, not sure wtf is going on in that company.
LOL!
Well the replacement Note7s are catching on fire apparently too, so I think it will take Samsung a bit to recover from this disaster.

Well played, good sir.

I'm guessing that last one has already been turned into a movie. And that it didn't star a vacuum cleaner...
How's the story in that movie? Does it suck?

Yep, this is how DLC should be done for all MP focused games, so playerbase doesn't get severed.
All maps/game modes are free, cosmetic stuff paid DLC.
I wish more devs/publishers would follow what these guys are doing.

Lots of mixed reviews about this one. I've watched Jaguar's video, he wasn't pleased.
Some other youtubers I follow like Saucy Network liked it a lot.
Would be nice to have a demo to try.

Not everyone uses their phones for only phone calls. Some people actually do a lot more on their phone than just calls.
Just because you have no use for that stuff smart phones can offer doesn't mean noone else needs that.

If the $200 phone works for you, god bless but don't expect everyone to be same as you.

Top of the line phones will be expensive, just like top of the line anything.
If all you play is solitaire on our PC a GTX1080 or a Titan X video card will probably be an overkill
