I would be a perfect tester for this. Blizzard however doesn't give a shit though.
Don't sweat it. The open beta is almost here anyways.

I have no faith in CA. Their last few games weren't exactly stellar and the "blood and gore" DLC just down right pisses me off.
I love the Warhammer universe and itching to play this game but I will wait until the reviews and final verdicts are in before I consider a purchase.

Solo play can be pretty satisfying/frustrating/stupid hard, but playing online with others is not so bad since it is a coop game.
Haven't tried the new vs mode but I have no interest in it anyways.

I've picked this up when they first released the early access build. Played it a bit but it was pretty rough around the edges. I will play it more ones it is finished, but I wanted to support the devs.

With that said I was well aware that this game was going to be in early access for a long time, before it is finished. The devs made sure of communicating this with the fans, so I am not sure what is so fishy about it for some people.

Just wait til it's done and pick it up then.

Have it all pre loaded and ready to go. I am looking forward to give this and Overwatch a try.
TB really praised Battleborn.

Same, i have the 3 platforms, if i like the game not sure which to choose. For overwatch I'm pretty sure i'll get it for PC.
I wish they'd kept the local coop play in for the PC version than it would be an easy choice.
This game looks like something my kids would love to play in coop. With local coop being console exclusive, it makes the purchase decision a bit harder.

Considering the spirit of DOOM is supposed to be all about community. Community made maps, tweaks, mods, servers. This is just DOOM in name only. That writing was on the wall the moment iD sold out.

They still support that according to the news bit above. Am I missing something?

We know the DOOM community has always been about great user-generated content, and thatís something we want to continue to encourage with SnapMap, an innovative new component of DOOM designed to make creating, sharing and playing new game experiences fast and easy. On top of being able to access and play new modes and maps created by your fellow gamers, id plans to offer content updates for SnapMap, including map modules; props and objects; additional features and functionality; AI enhancements; editing tool enhancements and more. Multiplayer will also receive content updates in the form of new game modes. Both of these SnapMap and multiplayer updates will be free to use and play.

I'll be checking out the open beta of both this and Battleborn but so far Battleborn looks much more interesting to me.
This one looks like a different version of Team Fortress 2.

Since it is a mature game I am pretty sure they are not aiming for the 8 year olds.
But they sure as fuck aiming for the CoD/Halo crowd.
I am pretty disappointed as well since Wolfenstein was an amazingly good game, I've had hope Doom would turn out alright and not a CoD me too game.

That second MP video I posted that map reminds me of Finn's Revenge map in the original SC. I've loved that map to death. So much fun playing that against he Ai.

I agree with some of the comments that this game can use a bit more work but Stardock behind it I have faith this won't be an abandon-ware like what PA has became.

Unfortunately hackers in MP games is just normal these days.
As for DLC I agree with you on that one. Wish these devs/publishers would follow the Rocket League DLC scheme. All maps and game modes free all other cosmetic stuff is paid DLC.

I ended up grabbing it from gmg with their 20% off coupon.
Didn't have much time to play it yet.
Bolt Sauce has some pretty sweet gameplay vids on his channel:
like this one or this

I don't think the game will appeal for everyone, but which RTS game is?

Yeah CH makes pretty high quality stuff.
My only gripe with them is they have no twist motion in their joysticks, which I use quiet a bit. I didn't want to invest into pedals.
