Played a round against the Ai and my initial thoughts, I like it a lot more than Wargame. It's a lot more fun, slower pace, and (to me) more enjoyable.
Looking forward to play some more.

I've just picked this game up myself but haven't had a chance to play just yet.
I own all the Wargame titles, however I put the least amount of time into Red Dragon. I didn't find it as enjoyable as the previous games for some reason. Maybe the Ai difficulty was bumped up too much or something, I don't know, just didn't like it as much as I thought I would.
I don't play these games often enough to be very competitive and therefore I don't play online.
Looking forward to the single player and skirmish against Ai

Hard to get excited for anything Microsoft is doing/planning.

Yes, yes. I know. This is blues. M$ is evil, blah blah.
Well they might be evil not sure, but I just can't recall a single thing they have done for PC gaming that was so amazeballs that make me all excited and gitty about their plans for gaming

A year after release, I'm officially addicted to Stellaris. Playing as a Fanatic Purifier who can't engage in diplomacy definitely keeps things challenging. I'd recommend trying it if you already own the game but maybe thought it was too slow/boring.
Hopefully the DLC will go on sale at the Summer sale so I can grab them. I'd like to get Utopia.

I am hearing quite a bit of praise for Prey, I guess I'll have to pick that up at some point when it gets sufficiently discounted. That probably won't be during this summer sale though.

It was on sale yesterday as part of GMG anniversary sale for $29CDN plus an additional 20% off
Probably around $15~$20US?

Dungeon Keeper never really did it for me - though I did like Evil Genius. This doesn't really look like my bag, baby, but the price is right so why not.

You don't like Dungeon Keeper!?!? Unforgivable sin. Blue, ban Cutter for life.

Of all his nonsense over the years, this is by far the most damning evidence.

You can eat babies and vote Trump, but this is to much.

It was pure cutter because he liked the price. Maybe a temp ban is in order.

Blood and gore DLC incoming.
Seriously I know why they're doing it (ESRB rating) just seems ridiculous to pay for that DLC
With that said I did pay for it because a Warhammer game just isn't warhammer without all the gore and blood

I don't know why you guys are concerned. If anyone people like that guy with the 15 grand investment should be concerned.

We could have had 10 indy space sims for the cash that Roberts took in, or an AAA Tie Fighter 2 with proper Lucasarts production values.

I give a shit because this is my favorite genre in gaming, and if this thing never sees the light of day it will result in a whole lot of disgruntled people who will never Kickstart another space sim again. I don't know if an AAA publisher will even attempt one while this is in "development".
I think if this doesn't get made it will have the exact opposite effect of what you are describing.
Publishers will be like, holy crap Christ Robert was able to preach up so much money for promises? Shit we can do better than that.

Again I understand where you are coming from but as long as those with large investments in this project keep being apologestic with Roberts and noone holds him to any sort of timeline to deliver something, there isn't much you and I can do but hope this will see a light of day.

However after a while all that excitement wears off and I just simply do not care much for it anymore until I see something that can remotely be called a game. Specifically SQ42. I really don't give a flying shit about this MMO crap Roberts is building
