I'm looking at building a new PC in the new year. Was thinking Intel 6700k CPU but will hold off and see how zen turns out.
Rooting for AMD here to shake up the stagnant CPU market. Intel has been dominating for far too long due to lack of competition.
Come on AMD, kick some ass already!

if you listened to everything your 'fans' on reddit posted, no matter how good your game is or how minor the issue they have, you would soon realize that the entire fucking project and the life you have been living up to this point in time, is 100% mistakes
Agreed. It's nice of them to listen to the fans and feedback but there's no way to please everyone, especially not with something as subjective as what skins gets to be a legendary and what once are not.
Since it's all random drops I don't see what does it matter anyways. Not like people have any control over what skins they'll get when they open a loot box.

And before you say that's my ISP doing it, I have no such issues with Steam, with PS, with anything. Just with effing MS.
It does sound like your ISP though. Maybe the way the xbox gets the updates flags the process to your ISP as a torrent connection and throttle it?
Have you tried to use a VPN?
I've never had any download issues with the xbone updates.

Always at 180MB it stops though. Always. Doesn't matter the update size. 200MB? Chokes at 180. 5 GB? Chokes at 180. And it does it for nothing else.

So unless MS is actively giving me these updates through a torrent, I don't see it.
That's weird

Survival can be done in groups or solo, and I really do recommend it, it's bloody challenging.
Survival is part of the season pass. Which I won't be buying.

Too bad Activision ties MWR to the expensive version of their new CoD game. I refuse to pay that much $ for a remastered version of a game I already own.

By the time they will wake up and decide to offer MWR separate (if ever) noone will care for it the least.
Way to fuck it up.

I've picked 3 up on a sale but didn't get around to play much of it.
The little I've played didn't entertain me as much as the previous ones did for some reason.

Looks awesome, reminds me a lot of Men of War series, in a good way. I've never played any of the Sudden Strikes...but none of them are on Steam or Gog?

Added this to the Steam wishlist.
+1
Exactly the vibe I got from it too.
Looking forward to check this out. Would be nice to try a demo or something.

I doubt anyone will shed any tears over no PC trial
BF1 is the shit on the PC this holiday season. Anyone that isn't into BF are probably playing Overwatch.

I'd be surprised if the game wouldn't be on sale as well during the free weekend.

I'm looking forward to check it out. I'm kind of on the fence about this game. I currently have way too many new games to play but very little free time to play.

I am mostly interested in MP which hopefully won't become a ghost town in a month or so, because by the sound of it this game didn't sell too well.

Anyone have any thoughts on a GTX 1060. I'm tossing up either Asus or MSI at this point. Any other brand recs - excepting Sapphire and Gigabyte as my experiences with them have been bad? I've seen some good reviews for some other brands like HIS, Zotac, PNY, but don't know anything about them.
I think those 2 are your best bet Cutter
I've been hearing pretty good things about the MSI customer service. I believe they have a repair center in Mississauga.
Asus will be probably the most expensive.
I personally have never had issues with any of my video cards so I can't comment on their customer service. I am using a Gigabyte G1 GTX970 currently.
I've had Evga, ASUS and MSI in the past.

Cyber Monday USED to be a thing, now it's just marketing bunk. Everybody just adopted a "Friday-through-Monday" sale period instead of one or the other.
Yeah pretty much. If anything some things were on sale online for a better price on Friday than they are today.

The game has been on the Steam top 10 selling list since it came out. The reviews on the Steam page look very positive as well.

I have it on my wishlist and will be picking it up down the road, but I have an overwhelming amount of new games to play as is, not enough free time.
