With Destiny, PUBG, Battlefront2 and many others I can't think of right now, I doubt this will be super popular on the PC.

I don't think it's tough to find games however. I loaded up World at War a couple months ago, which came out nine years ago, and was still finding matches.
Yeah that game is different because of mods I guess.
The newer ones have pretty much zero popularity online.
The other night I've tried to get into a game with Advanced Warfare and couldn't find any games online

If the single player is really that short I'll just finish it with the 10hr trial I get with EA Access

I wonder how popular this game will be on the PC.
I don't mind buying a CoD game every couple of years, but judging from the previous few releases, they're a ghost town online. Can't even find any MP games in Team Deathmatch.
I'd hate to invest money into a game like that and than not being able to find any games online after the first few months.

I hope it does really well, especially in the wake of all this "Single player games are dying" blubbering.

I'm not going to get it, however. The first just didn't hook me that much, I had to force myself to finish it.
Same here. It is a great game but just didn't hold my attention to keep playing it.
Maybe I'll finish it some day but I will not buy the sequel at this time.

I just noticed this guys reviews. I like his presentation, voice and style. Not overtly spoilerish.
ACG Reviews, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Review "Buy, Wait for Sale, Rent, Never Touch?"
I've watched that exact review yesterday. The game seems to be pretty good.

It is fantastic!

Why against bots, though? That game has been on my wishlist for a while now. I'm tempted to pull the trigger and buy it but don't really want to deal with a toxic playerbase.
I have played only a few MP games and the player base wasn't toxic at all. Maybe I was just lucky not sure.
The game is much slower pace than CoD or BF so I don't think you'll find too many kids playing it.
I personally prefer playing with bots, but the MP part of the game is pretty good imho
There's MP coop where you play against bots. Maybe that's what the original poster meant.

News Comments > Total War: WARHAMMER Free Content
2. Re: Total War: WARHAMMER Free Content Oct 26, 2017, 12:16 SpectralMeat

Total War games were always heavy on the DLC side.
I thought there was something about the blood and gore stuff that if it was included in the game the ESRB rating would be different.

I do hate to pay for that stuff too and does feel like nickle and diming but at least in this case it carries over from one game to another.
I generally don't buy any DLC for Total War games but the blood and gore packs I always end up getting.
This game is just not the same without all the gore on the battlefield

I understand people that were streaming or recording gameplay are getting banned for some stupid reson
If you use an AMD cpu you will be banned for some stupider reason.

People saying they were banned for using the nVidia overlay thing. That'd be quite the fuck-up since they're partners. And it's a default installation option in the drivers. Pretty sure mine was on but not recording last night and I have not been banned yet.

I assume this is the reason I have a new 50% off coupon for Civ VI Deluxe Edition (regular price $80)... However there doesn't seem to be an upgrade option, so it's pretty useless for someone who already owns the base game. All the DLC costs $38 separately anyway!
Same here. Got that coupon yesterday. Not sure why steam gives me coupons for games I already own.

Most Paradox games are very very DLC heavy
If I like the game enough I will buy some DLC here and there to support the team but I do see how they do go a bit overboard with it in some cases.
Crusader Kings 2 for example, base game $44CDN, all the DLC $350CDN
Europa Universalis, same deal.

Good to see Activision is hard at work perfecting the ways to nickle and dime the shit out of gamers.

Do yourself a favor and buy "Day of Infamy" next time it goes on sale. Forget about CoD and its 5-12yr old player base, I guarantee you will have far more fun and for far less dough.

Can't recommend it enough.
Not to mention the offline "practice" mode with bots when you don't feel like playing against/with real people.
Or just want to stomp the computer to make you feel better about yourself lol

Anyone want to place bets that SQ42 won't come out in 2018?

That's a bet where the house will always win. SQ42 is heavily dependent by their own admission, on SC code, and its obvious the SC code is a steaming pile of garbage.

This game could barely manage a ultra highly scripted 15 minute run with a mere 2 players without imploding on itself mutliple times, quests borking all over the place, quest items disappearing, and you car being killed by a ramp.

SQ42 wont be coming out this decade at the rate they keep screwing this up
Yeah..
Hey look at that pretty cockpit animation!
