To me personally gameplay is where you see the hud and stuff.
Hopefully on the 12th they will release some actual gameplay video, maybe a MP beta before the game comes out so people can sample it.

Playing with the controller does help with the combat. Otherwise it is a fantastic game.
Can't wait for their next game.

They need to replace free weekends with free weeks. Friday to Friday or something of that nature. Not all of us are free on weekends, but that's the only time they ever host these.
Ditto. I hate it when they end on Sundays at 1:00 PM PT. Dude, what about the 11 hours left of the weekend?
Yeah that does suck as most weekends that is exactly the time frame I can game as I am busy the rest of the weekend.
Why don't they end these on Monday at 1PM when the week long deals or whatever takes over is beyond stupid.

Don't remember seeing all this BS about story in the other games threads.
E:D got plenty of hate for this exact same reason.
No story go do whatever you want. People were complaining there is nothing to do.
I think games like the Witcher and GTA got people spoiled and they expect more from the open world games, than just being tossed into this sandbox and go make your own story.
I personally enjoyed E:D quiet a bit but I understand why people were complaining about it.
To each their own

Has it been confirmed No Mans Sky will be devoid of gameplay/story, or is this all based off speculation and humour?
They touch on that in this video
You make you own adventure sort of game, no story or anything like that. You get thrown into this large sandbox and do whatever you want. Explore, trade, fight etc.

That's sad news. Nokia used to make some fantastic phones back in the day. Even today the Microsoft phones were awesome in terms of hardware. The software however, well. Most apps just open a webpage, no dedicated fitness apps were a deal breaker for me personally.
Not to mention the price of the new phones were in line with the Apple and Android phones.
The Microsoft store sucks donkey balls.
Noone gives a shit how nice the hardware is if you have nothing to take advantage of it.

$35? Lol! Yeah, see you in a year or two.

The other post had a typo, or they're not using the US pricing. It's $25 in the States.
He is referring to the CDN price.

I don't think he actually gives a damn. I just raised his blood pressure by using the word "goalposts". I've never actually used it before, as a search shows, and I won't use it again because I don't want to hurt anyone.

Most hurtful words you can use on Blues News in no particular order:
-goal post
-rose colored glasses
-Carmack
-Star Citizen
-Christ Roberts
-wake me when it's $5
-shovel ware

etc etc.

The last few years Steam Sales have been kinda crappy. Games have been cheaper elsewhere.
Besides I have so many games I got no time to play I am not aching to buy anything new atm.

There are a couple of games I'd like to get (at least a year or more old), but the odds of them getting any decent type of discount are pretty low. The days of the cool sales where you could pick up great games for a song are long since past, apparently.
I think there are still good deals just not from Steam directly.
GMG, bundle stars etc are much better places to get a good deal than Steam is.
There are websites like isthereanydeal.com that tracks prices of games and where they were on sale and almost always a game on a Steam sale is more expensive than what it was selling for somewhere else.
