I remember hearing how the guy who wrote "The Shawshank Redemption" submitted a script and everyone involved loved it (except for you-know-who G.L.) I find it hard to believe that it wasn't good- the Shawshank Redemption was a great film, and I think that guy can really write.

Oh well....Harrison isn't getting any younger that is for sure.

Anyone else excited about "Six Feet Under" this Sunday? I swear, if it wasn't for HBO's shows...I wouldn't even have HBO ...or cable for that matter! Six Feet is a great show.

And, oh yah...coffee, coffee and more coffee!!

SmyTTor:
Twisting ideas? What am I twisting? I'm saying Halsy has just as much right to express his thoughts as anyone else without getting jumped for it.

Wow...what are you talking about? IT's called FREE SPEECH (liberals usually like it.) And what it means is that if Halsy says something (which he has every right to say) and we don't agree or think it's mean or whatever, then WE have the right to be able to tell him he's wrong, insensitive, whatever! Where in the world did you get the idea that anyone has a right to express an opinion and not get negative responses about that idea?

Nobody told Halsy he was breaking the law for giving his opinion...aren't we entitled to the same thing without you crying victim? Sheesh...

However, I can list a few thousand people more deserving of reverence (guilt, pity?) than a man and his record of betraying the trusts of the offices he held.

Please, there is a world of difference in disliking someone's policies and politics and saying "it's a good day when they die." Try to not overstate and twist what people here are reacting to when they criticize what Halsy said...as far as I can tell no one has even tried to defend Reagan's ideas. They only (and rightfully so) said that Halsy's words were inappropriate.

Ahh, I knew this was going to be a great day all around. Couldn't ask for more.

Christ, Halsy...why do you have to say something that dumb? I often agree with your politics, but you do a serious disservice to other liberals when you are so pointlessly mean.
Keep it up and the true liberals are going to vote you out as the resident Blue's News flamewar liberal. (But, at this rate I am sure you could find a place in the "compassionate conservative" camp.)

The depths of nazi'ism this implies is hopefully not lost on you. If I PAY for a game, I expect it to fucking work, notwithstanding if I have Nero or Alcohol120 or lesbian alien porn on my computer. In fact, I wonder if such a system of checking is actually even LEGAL. But I assume you're just the developer, and so not to blame for this incessantly increasing fiasco?

Damn Creston, preach it!

I can't believe how much I am enjoying UT2004. I HATED UT2003-I literally couldn't play it more than one weekend. But this game/update is great. It really just feels much more solid than last year's version. Onslaught is a blast, and while it feels too much like Halo to be unique...it's still pretty good.

Well, I am putting together my first system ever from scratch, and I feel pretty good about the whole thing EXCEPT for the HSF installation.

I got a Vantec Aeroflow rated for the XP 3200+ b/cI wanted to check out the TMD technology. So, here I am. Ready to install this thing on the Asus A7N8x-E mobo, but I am sort of worried about this part. I have heard of processor cores crumbling on the Athlon Xp's from applying too much pressure during the HSF installation. Any safety tips that will help me not have to buy a new proc?

I am worried because I have ZERO confidence in my motor skills, and this is the one part of an assembly that requres a sure hand. Does anybody have any tips? The Vantec uses clips and I am using ArticSilver 5. If anybody has anything to add...I'm listening.

Thanks for any bone you throw my way-
