I have to disagree. I think it looks stunning. I don't play ut3 anymore but the maps look amazing. Props to them for releasing them for free in this new age of micro-transactions.

Its common knowledge, just google 'DRM Vista' and you can read what everyone else has been reading.

Vista fails to support hardware sound properly because EVERY singly high quality sound is compressed and then uncompressed. It really SUCKS. Vista is a huge step backwards.

Fucking DRM. If you want decent Hardware sound in your games a Creative FX card and XP is still the way to go.

There is a great wide screen mod I use for dawn of war. I lets you see a lot more of the battlefield then what the default 1680 x 1050. If you go to http://forums.relicnews.com/forumdisplay.php?f=90

There is tips on how to make DoW look its best, everything from increasing texture detail even further to enabling AA and Zoom settings for wide screens.

Dawn of War is the only thing sustaining my interest in gaming at the moment. Maybe I'm just getting old ... but I keep coming back to Dawn of War over and over again.

I don't play that table top game or paint models but I love the world and the detail of the characters.

They could have really benefited from a texture artist. The textures in this game are amateurish at best.

Uh I agree Portal was fun but it was short with extremely limited reply value. Everything has its price, but Portal's is NOT 29.99!
