Theyre referring to the texture of the meat, like when you slice it up to prepare for cooking/grilling. Kangaroo tastes like a tangy flank steak.

The last two installments have featured 'other' Splinter Cells... I think the smart play is to intro a whole new character, a new guy trained by Sam, with the plot revolving around the NSA attmpting to regain control over Echelon.

As a modder for Oblivion, I can tell you with 100% certainty this is an outright ripoff.
The bookshelves are the dead giveaway; the placement of the books, urns, and "clutter" are near-impossible to totally replicate due to the havok physics and the micromanagement of the items. They've broken into the Oblivion Construction Set and copy/pasted *everything*.
EDIT - Or Bethsoft has allowed this to happen on some level. I'm not a business guru, but I know my bookshelves in Oblivion.

Did anyone notice the newspaper clippings at the old BM base that said, "Earth Surrenders" and other stuff like that? Indicating the Earth was invaded? Theyre up on a tackboard right by the teleporter, I think. There are some pretty serious oppressive overtones (ala WW2 Germany) threaded throughout the plot so far.

It's getting where I pray the Sony ad doesnt display whenever I come here. And it seems my prayers are being ignored with less and less frequency. The ad is too large and invasive, even at 1280x720.

I just went back and read all of Fred's posts. I had to stop at the White Devil phase he went thru cuz my stomach hurt from laughing and then when his "mom" came on and posted the "poem". I just couldn't go any further without crying. Please don't ever ban him, just keep deleting the real bad posts.
