You can fix that problem in the overlay. Go into overlay then click ajust colors, then under color profile click advanced, and its back to normal. The bug is still in this version as well.

This level wasn't included in the other demos. It seems kind of strange to redo a level from the first game to show what the expansion pack's updated engine can do. I would have rather had a level form the expansion pack, oh well, it does look a lot better though.

OOps, thats the one I was thinking of, that game ran much smoother, and I think the graphics were better on MoH Pacific Assault as well.

It's kind of wierd, I ran this at the same settings as the single player demo and this was far more sluggish. All I did was create a server and walk around to check it out and it was stuttering quite a bit.

It is actually very good. Excellent graphics, extremely intense.

Kind of crazy when three Japanese guys come rushing at you with their bayonets.

Overall I would say an excellent game in an overcrowded WWII genre (understatement of the year).

Took me 20 minutes to download from Fileplanet.

It wouldn't surprise me if in the near future comapnies start releasing games in segments. Imagine if Half-life 2 was broken up into 4 chapters and each chapter was released every 4-6 months (real-world not valve time).

If your game sells good you keep making it, if it tanks then you don't.

Then at the end you can still release your "Brand new super duper platinum game of the year award version" (uh..I mean game of the two year award)

If it's really done by early August they should be able to put it on Steam. Or do they have to make the virtual boxes....

I am rather lucky, I live in an apartment. But its a town home and its 1500 sq/ft. I have an area downstairs where I have my computer set up and I have no worries about neighbors. I live on the end of the building and I only have a neighbor on one side.

I have an Audigy 2zs hooked up to my 500watt logitech 5.1 speakers and I have no worries I also have a 500wt dvd system and I've never had any complaints, but I also don't crank it up too much, just loud enough so it sounds good.

Dont' know how far up north your thinking of moving but I am in Michigan.

Your not buying the demo you are unlocking the whole game. That download is everything. A lot of companies are doing this now; you can download a lot of full games from fileplanet and others.

I would imagine in a few years this will start to hurt software stores. I'm sure either this round of consoles or the next, this will be how you can buy games...more than likely rent games.

I was really disappointed with this game too.

I have a p4 3.2 with a gig o ram and a radeon 9800xt and it is not very impressive.

Not that graphics are everything but, with the terrible performance I wish it at least looked good.

After having actually getting it to install, I don't think they had enough time to truly fix it
Wasn't exactly impressed, running speed is slow as hell. Graphics are a little dated, overall just didn't "feel" right. Hard to explain; I'll give it another shot when they release a non-beta demo though.

I have a 9800xt, with a p4 3.2 and a gig-o-ram, and it plays pretty damn good

This is actually a bad time to buy a card as the new ones will be anounced in the next few weeks and you could have a card that is much better than either of those for about the same price. Or wait until the new cards come out and you could get the xt for at least $100 cheaper.

Good lord!
This game sucks so bad...If I were Croteam I would sue them for making a game this crappy with my engine.

I don't know what the guy earlier was smoking but these are the worst graphics I've seen in a long time. Even if this is a buget title it's way too much money to spend.

I have a p4 3.2 gig of ram and a radeon 9800xt and there are no settings where this looks even a little good.

Well I loved it as well. Awesome graphics, of course having a 3.2, gig-o-ram, and 9800xt doesn't hurt

I am in the multiplayer beta as well, that is also a blast.

I guess if you didn't like serious sam than don't bother with this one, but I think its fun.

Speaking of Sam, Croteam had something on there website late last year about haveing a tech demo of the new enigine coming out soon and that's the last I've heard about it. Anyone else hear anything ???

Lucky I have 3mb cable modem.

Quick first impressions, seems faster, could just be me.

I like the weapon redesign on some of them.

Kind of dissapointed that you can't get a real impression of the graphics because the highest it goes for textures is normal. But it would have probably made the download too big with the good textures.

Even without them though it does look pretty sweet.

Don't really like the ui as much.

It just "feels" like a more polished ut2k3.

My system:
3.2 p4
1 gig corsair
9800 xt
logitech 500 watt

All I have ever heard people bitch about this game is stuff like, they don't do what this other game does, why couldn't they have done what that game does...etc. Always comparing to other games, which I can understand to a degree. People compare it to games they like. But there comes a point when you need to get over it already.

If it was like the other game they would bitch that wasn't origial.

I tried Asherons call 2 and didn't like it all because I had gotten so used to the way things were done in swg. Which is why I can understand how people feel.

I am looking forward to trying out Everquest 2.

While I do agree with the idea of needing more loot; loot usually sucks in most games unless you are fighting really strong creatures.

I must be in the minority because I really enjoy this game. I think part of the reason why is that it's my first online game. While I was in college I had a terrible connection and now with a 3mb cable modem its nice to play online.

I enjoy the missions, going to the differnet planets, saving up for new armor, all of it. I have been playing since about 2 weeks after launch.

It probab ly helps that I have a really good systme to play on.

3.2 p4, gig of ram, 9800xt and 500w logitech speakers.

I think this is just one of those games that people love to dump on. Kind of becomes the "in" thing to do.
