Experiencing the same problems as you, rock climber. Nice job Techland; You're the first company to pull this off on my computer.

I was really disappointed.

- The tutorial "restarted" for no particular reason two times

- The voice acting is extremely poor

- The rest of the sounds are extremely poor. Everything sounds flat and echoed. There's no footstep sounds, no sounds for climbing or descending a ladder, the Breed make very little noise and the weapons are extremely quiet. Not to mention explosions

- The graphics are all right is some areas but aren't up to par with most games. The textures looked dull and muddy and the game lacked some of the more standard effects, for example bullet holes or blood.

- The spawning enemies issue has already been brought up. Enemies magically appearing in turrets and snipers spawning out of thin air kills your enjoyment.

- The AI is some of the worst I've seen in a while. The last game to sport such amazing AI was 007: Nightfire. The AI includes features such as "run towards you shooting" and "ignore the fact that the person standing next to you got sniped". I honestly haven't seen such uninpsiring AI in a long time.

Overall I'd say that the game has two main problems. It lacks any degree of ambience and it has extremely boring combat thanks to the AI.

... Coming from a person who was really looking foward to it.

Am I the only one who gets around 1 minute loading times? Playing it on harder difficulty levels gets old fast, when half of my time is spent looking at the loading screen. Maybe I should upgrade my 256DDR to 512...

Considering the evironment, I think the 4 player limit will be good for the scare factor. You'll always be looking for your oponents shadow around the corner with baited breath. It's going to be a whole different kind of experience. I look foward to it.

That depends on the design I guess. If it feels like Quake3, where you can jump ten feet and run at a steady 60 miles per hour, it isn't going to be scary. The level design is going to play a big part too. I don't see anything good in the join on startup option though. It just makes things harder for the player

I basically did it in the same way. However I actually stood in the doorway (door opened) and the moment the Don walked in, I strangulated him.
I think it's odd how the coolest / most obvious options don't really work. Killing the postman only gets you so far, the same with the delivery boy.

hey scarificed game enjoyment for realism in op crashpoint. you go 18 minutes into your mission, getting very close to your objective and BOOM some sniper hits you out of nowhere and you have to replay the whole damn mission again with your crappy aiming thing.

I think it just adds excitement to the game. Yes, I've been killed numerous times at the end of a missions, and it's not fun. However no other game I've played has had as much tension as Op:F.

Back on topic, I'm really looknig foward to BattleField. I don't have a problem with aiming, you just need to hold still while shooting. A tank was about to kill me, when a teammate shot it with a bazooka just in time. As it exploded, an enemy jeep drove past, which got caught in the explosion missing my head by 3 feet. Now if that isn't cool, then nothing is :D.

The demo has been working perfectly for me, aside from a couple of crashes. I've completed the demo in 4:10 minutes, 0 alerts, 0 killed and 0 harmed with a "Slilent Assasin" rating. The game doesn't count Don in to the kills. It's really easy once you figure out a route. Just remember NOT to get too close to a guard with your disguise.
