They're finally free, they can all use the clout gained at working at one of the more prestigious game studios out there, and pursue whatever shit they want. Trust me, I bet there's sharks trying to pick up talent from them left, right, and center.

The establishment see Steam reviews as a threat because they are actually good and cutting them out of the loop.
"The establishment." That's hilarious. Tell that to some indie developer struggling to eat because he's dared to have a non-backwater social philosophy (completely unreflected in his game) and someone's waterboarded the reviews section because of it.
But you go on and tell yourself you're doing The Lord's work. He certainly didn't say "love thy neighbor." Wait, hang on a minute...
That's some QUALITY strawman you got there. Highly entertaining! Don't stop, please!

Where did I indicate that I seek the banning, firing or silencing of anyone? I have no time for the extreme regressive left, and since I have a job and a life, I never have to meet or encounter them in any way except when the yahoos on the forum I frequent feel the need to inform me about how outrageous their impotent prattling is.
This torch and pitchfork crowd that cries big meaty man tears at the very mention of things that are not them or fuckable by them in their entertainment of choice, as if they are the sly tendrils of a grand conspiracy are everywhere these days! Gaming is full of these people for some reason. And I take great joy in their anguish regardless of how much of their politics I share. It makes me happy. You made me happy today. Thankyou.
Missed the /s I take it? It's okay.
You don't need to have time for the extreme regressive left, though it has plenty of time for you and it's 1920's style anti-sexual revolution mentality.

"Extremist." God knows when people having equal rights became extremist.
If you think the SJWs want equal rights, I've got a bridge to sell you. It's all about the elimination of men.
Ignore. You see this is how it works. You talk about them they gain strength by recognition. If you ignore them this is what happens... "I'd love to get my (insert agenda) but damn it no one will even listen to us." Dies on the vine.

Looks like Beamcrap is hurting after pissing on Baldur's Gate's legacy. Although the SJW dominated press has tried to portray this as anti-LGBT, nobody cares about who's in anyone's bed.
This isn't going to encourage anyone to buy the game who is against the extremist SJW agenda. Looking forward to Beamdog's financial collapse.

typical SJW behavior, really.

I'm not happy with the Ubisoft review embargo thing they pulled with the game. I do not care if the game is the next Half Life, they should not be embargoing reviews or reviewers.
Having said that the Open beta (IE: a limited time demo) taste of whats to come trick worked well, even from the posts below. I suppose its actually a nice way to show a game, I like that. But I would still like to hear reviewers before I commit money. So I wait until they speak.

I'm going to give it a shot -- I was pretty impressed by google cardboard, so I don't think I'll be disappointed. My biggest concern is more about having enough content rather than the quality of the experience.
Content is the main thing holding me back too.
VR is happening again now because of smartphones and the technology that it has driven: responsive sensors, physically tiny processing power, most of all the high PPI displays.

I fully expected to delete it again after five minutes but I've actually stuck with it for a couple of hours. It's OK for a free beta/game but I won't buy this consolitis garbage. I really dislike cover shooters with shitty gamepad style aiming and at the core this will always remain a cover shooter no matter how much they try to hide it with padding.
Translation: "I decided I wasn't going to like this before I played it. I didn't like it, because I don't like the genre. So, it's terrible."
Translation: "I'm a moron who knows absolutely nothing about this CJ_Parker guy but I'm gonna make a helluva lot of fucking dumb ASSumptions anyway".
Just a quick clue: I expected the game to SUCK from the videos I watched before playing the beta. It was not a "decision" to not like it. The "decision" was made easy by watching the lame preview videos with crappy gameplay. So I decided to see for myself and, as I said, was (sort of) pleasantly surprised until I realized what the game is and always will be at its core: Cover shooter console garbage.
So there.
Cover shooter console garbage.
