I fully expected to delete it again after five minutes but I've actually stuck with it for a couple of hours. It's OK for a free beta/game but I won't buy this consolitis garbage. I really dislike cover shooters with shitty gamepad style aiming and at the core this will always remain a cover shooter no matter how much they try to hide it with padding.

Pfft, didn't get in the beta. Obviously Blizzard doesn't want one of the best FPS players on this stupid rock to beta test their game. Oh well fine whatever. Will wait for reviews for this game like all the reset anyway. >_>

Not that it matters, since I have not much of a clue about US politics really, but I think Trump has a big mouth, zero substance. Politics are a show, you never show how you really are when you wanna get elected.
So an improvement over George W. Bush then?![]()

I think I heard that David Bowie was in to Nazi paraphernalia, anyone know if there is any truth to that?
I think he played a key role in getting Stevie Ray Vaughan in to a recording studio too.
According to Wikipedia: Bowie was quoted in Stockholm as saying that "Britain could benefit from a Fascist leader", and was detained by customs on the Russian/Polish border for possessing Nazi paraphernalia.
Blue may want to rethink his respect for the man, seeing as, IIRC, he's Jewish.

I'll be honest, Bowie wasn't an integral part of my musical upbringing. Not directly, anyway. The number of artists he inspired makes it impossible that he didn't have ANY influence on the music I grew up with. I knew him from Labyrinth, and knew he was also a musician. My parents were a bit too nosy, and my mom would take away any tapes or CDs from bands she didn't agree with. I bought Faith No More's Angel Dust 4 times because of her.
I feel bad that I honestly don't know the titles to any of his big hits. I probably have heard several and don't realize it. Bowie absolutely isn't the only band I missed out on. You can add Aerosmith and the Rolling Stones to that list. Both were "trailer trash music" and forbidden.
I DO know he was clearly a one-of-a-kind. It's sad that he's gone, but he didn't want our sympathy. He kept his illness secret and made one final album instead. I already listened to the title track, which is weird as shit and I don't think I like it. But I'm going to listen to the entire album, soley because he wanted people to focus on IT, not him.

Oh boy! The game this guy has repeatedly said would require more than ten times this amount to make has been "funded!" Can't wait to see what he'll do with all that money.

Never had to deal with Bell Canada or Rogers Telecommunications huh? Valve isn't even close to the worst.

Valve reported 77,000 hijacked Steam accounts per month recently... Not using 2-factor authentication for Steam by this point makes zero sense.
Can anyone explain what you can actually trade that's of any value? I don't get the whole earning badges thing.

The gameplay that they've shown looks really good though so I"m at least interested. Been a loooong time since I played FF7.

If you give money to Schafer right now, without a finished game, all you're buying is heartache and disappointment. He ran out of money and dropped the ball with Broken Age, and he screwed over all the hopefuls with Spacebase DF-9. I love Psychonauts and I really enjoyed some of his older titles, but I won't give up one red cent until this game is released, and has some good reviews.

That whole thing was fucking bizarre to read. From what I saw yesterday, the "journalist" basically started it and then cried when the other guy posted about it on social media...

Yeah here's my little world idea for a FF6 re-release: original SNES port with GBA additions + Modern Soundtrack and Original Soundtrack as options. Graphics like the PSP re-releases would be a great plus and a Hard Edition would be totally needed (since this FF is mindlessly easy).
