Daylight Savings Time? already? Apr 6, 2003, 19:32

I just turned on my computer 45 Minutes ago and looked at the clock on it. It was 1 hour ahead of my Alarm clock and watch. Funny... Windows XP didn't even flash a message like Windows 98 always did when there was an adjustment. And MSN didn't have any reminders on thier home page. So I had to go HERE to find out IF there was a change... htp://aa.usno.navy.mil/faq/docs/daylight_time.html

That was just SO strange...

Well, unless you purchased that copy bundled with a new computer system, you are in violation of your EULA and thus are no more legit than someone who downloaded thier version, Sparky.

BUT, AHHHHHHHH... It's a NEW SYSTEM... that I built... Spanky.

Besides... XP OEM version doesn't have TECH SUPPORT from Microsoft. For that... you need to call the system builder. ie: Compaq, Dell... etc.

See... Now if WE were ALL smart enough around here... WE would all be buying Windows XP Home Version OEM for a LOW, LOW price of $109.00.

... well, that's what I paid for it anyway.

It more like a Direct X / Direct 3D problem. 2 of the games X Wing and Tie Fighter Collectors CD ROMs wont work in Direct 3D. Lucasarts knows of the problem but do not have a fix.

Makes me wonder if Lucasarts is going to redo these titles using the XWA engine?

I still need to look at few others that I have in my collection. Interstate '76 Nitro Pack, Fighting Steel, and SiN are among those.

A lot of people don't realize that XP is significantly more compatible (with existing applications)," Weed said. "In general, organizations will find 95 percent or more of their apps are fine.

... while 20 percent of my Windows 95 / 98 games wont work for whatever reason with XP...

jesus!

500 K???

Noticed he took it off ebay.

I might add... one aluminum rim does cost about $400.00 USD.

How do I know that?

My Dad owns a 3000 GT.

of having DX9 without some game or benchmarking utility for it? Unless Madonion has something I dont know about that will test DX9?

I wouldn't install this right now.

... I like the idea. Even though World War I was mostly a stalemate at times. We rush your trench, then you rush ours. But I always wanted to play a WW I FPS. Fiction or not.

And gave it an 8+ hour Offline / Online test myself. Much like I did back in late 1999 during the Quake 3 Arena TEST demos. But that was before I had gotten the UT Demo...

NOW, that I have played the UT 2003 Demo, I keep thinking that this has the features, the feels, and the sounds of UT... but it plays like and LOOKS like something from Q3A.

And it seems like Im not the only one that feels this way. While I was playing UT 2003 online, others seemed not to happy with this "Q3A" mod.

Im sorry, but I will NOT be playing UT 2003. I just can't get myself into it. It's just not what I was hoping for.

So what is the replay value of this game after you "escape"?

Sounds like a good idea, playing a game based on "The Great Escape" movie, but I might be better off renting this one then paying $49.99?

Who Knows.

I wonder... If I get a GF4 MX 440 with 8X AGP... would I get 1.5 times the graphics performance? Errr... 2 X the performance... I cant quite figure out a joke for "2X The Performance" yet.

I have a MX 440 4X AGP... and Im pretty happy with it... for now.

and they STILL keep on making movies based on them?

I dont remember how well Tomb Raider did... but Wing Commander didnt do all so hot.

But I guess if you want to waste money, this is a sure fire way of doing it.

EDIT

Somebody pointed out Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles... Um... that was Comic book turned to movie. Example... Superman, Spiderman, Batman... etc etc etc... which do much better at the box office.

Yes... Big block power is what seperates the men from the boys.

1973 Olds 2 Door, 455 CI, Holly 750 CFM vacuum secondaries, and a single plane aluminum intake. Do 140+ MPH without breaking a sweat.

But at 12 MPG Highway... it sucked the gas like water.

Reverse... lol!

Anyway... if he reads this... I was running 1.13.1. Just updated to 1.14.3.

I think version 1.0 (FULL) has everything you need to get you started, including the MD2 models. Just install the upgrade patches, 1.0 to 1.11, then install 1.12 over those. You'll need 1.12 to use 1.14 anyway.

There are also newer MD2 models around thier website.

You may want to start with the 1.0 (FULL VERSION) to see how it works. Then get the updated versions later.

1.0 works fine. You just need to copy doom.wad to the directory where you installed JDOOM.

mIRC is harder than JDOOM to setup... for me anyway. LOL
