What a coincidence, I had a cat named after the Dr. Who character Romana too! Sadly it ran away some 6 years ago

The Monster Sound MX300 is the best sound card ever made. I'd still use it if it weren't for compatibility problems And their VooDoo(1) card was the first 3D card i ever purchased... at $300.

One thing I like to do is play some of the Dead Man Walking maps with godmode on. The element of danger is eliminated cause you can't die but it's fun if you're in the mood for just total carnage, and don't want to worry about being careful.

Seems this is for Vice City, not GTA 3.

It'll be loads more fun once they get pedestrians/traffic in, if that's even possible.

Hehe I was about to mention that too #12, I thought it was pretty amusing myself.

And yes it's a fairly short game... but I'll take quality over quantity any day. This game is just plain FUN!

Same here. 60 fps to me is certainly not butter smooth, though it's very acceptable. Over 80 fps and I'm happy man. 120+ and I can't tell the difference.

It doesn't really bother me either but you have to admit it, some of the monsters in these FF games are rather strange.

I thought mentioning GCW was sort of against the rules here. Well I'll just say that's usually the very first site I visit after buying a new game. I crack all my games

I can sympathize.

SWG is the single buggiest game I've ever played, and probably of all time. Many skills are completely broken, and have been broken since launch. Missions and hunting are monotonous. And what's up with those all-powerful AT-STs the Imperials get? Rebels have nothing to counter them... talk about imbalance.

My advice is to check back in a year or 2 (it will take at least that long to iron out the huge number of issues this game has) and then see if it's worth trying. Of course by then, World of Warcraft will be out...

Why the hell isn't SafeDisc dead yet anyway? Publishers must be aware by now of all the problems it's caused. It's not exactly that difficult to find cracks online. I crack all my games, as I bet most other serious gamers do.

Didn't read the article but there was some college kid in the news last night making the argument that "Music is art. Why should we have to pay to view art?"

I mean really now...

Yes that's true. As far as protests go I only know what I see on TV since I'm stuck here in the suburbs most of the time where everything is normal.

So they're angry... that's fine. Everyone has a right to their own opinion but causing that kind of destruction doesn't help to get their point across. It just makes them look like idiots. They say they want peace yet go around breaking crap and hurting people?

Edit: I know maybe I'm generalizing here. There have been peaceful protests here and there but for the most part I think they just want to cause mayham. Oh well.

I was watching the news last night and damn... those anti-war protesters seem to be some of the most violent people I've ever seen. So ousting Saddam is bad but putting cops in the hospital and sitting in the middle of the highway blocking traffic for miles is ok?

"War BAD!! ME CRUSH!!" *drool* *drool* *arms flailing about*

One of them was asked to point out Iraq on a map, and they couldn't find it...

I think the reason people cheat in multiplayer games is not to make themselves feel superior, but to attempt to make the other player(s) feel stupid or inferior to them.
