The FO3 UI is exactly the same as the console UIs. They didn't adapt it to the PC at all.
No, the Fallout 3 UI is different for PCs: It uses mouse and keyboard. Sure, the GUI looks the same as the console version, but it handles differently.

An excellent list of fixes and tweaks, Valve is really on the ball with this one.

No complaints from my Firefox client.

Looks like it could be interesting - I'm certainly keen on skill-based progression rather than class-based.

I think "stylized darkness" was intended as an artistic concept, rather than a PR statement. I like it, it fits.

I just bought World of Goo and Beyond Good And Evil, I've been meaning to try these out for a while and the sale seemed as good an excuse as any.

I've heard this is a decent game apart from the technical issues - hopefully the PC version will be able to address these. If so, I'll probably check it out.

If anyone can make dynamic and engaging story-telling work in a MMO, it's going to be Bioware. I'm really keen to see how this turns out.

I certainly won't be shedding any tears if this game fails to see the light of day.

Loving this game - no stability issues whatsoever. The Single-Player gets a bit frustrating at times, but the multiplayer is sublime - I'm actually enjoying it MORE than CoD4 (and I didn't think that was possible).

Even UnrealEd, one of the most widely used modding tools, is notoriously unstable, despite years of refinement and documentation - and that's just for an action-orientated FPS. Imagine how much more complicated it must be to document all of the scripts used in a large RPG. it would take an awful lot of extra work on the developer's part, when frankly I'm more interested in playing the game itself.

I don't understand why people are reacting as though Bethesda *owes* us modding tools - why people feel they have a right to demand these things. If Bethesda promised tools and failed to deliver, that would be a different matter, but they never promised the tools to begin with and haven't ruled out releasing them at a later date.

As I recall, neither Fallout 1 nor 2 were released with official modding tools - but that didn't stop them from being huge successes and gathering a significant following. Why? Because they were good games.

All I ask for from Bethesda is a good game, anything else is a bonus.

They certainly seem to have made a lot of extra work for themselves. I wonder whether they're starting to wish that they'd followed Stardock's example...

A quick glance at that document seems to say that they only used one MMORPG to gather data - Everquest 2. That seems to make this study much less useful than I first thought.

Bungie really should go back to publishing their own work.
