I think I have a condition that I need to see a doctor about. Every time they release any shred of information on this game I get so excited and pleasured that I cream my pants royally.

Although I may not be able to buy another game without a dynamic lighting system after Splinter Cell, its ruined me forever just like Thief II did.

Thnx for the refrate fix, I discovered that soon after I posted. Unfortunately I cant touch it right now, because Sam Fisher has a gun to my head and wont let me stop playing Splinter Cell (did I mention this game rules?)

Why dont you idiots grow up already. Fileplanet provides downloads for FREE, as long as youre willing to wait. If not, just put down $50 a year (thats less than $5 a month) and get instant, speedy access, far better than any other mirror I've seen in the last 6 years.

I have no problems whatsoever with fileplanet, and am happy to support them with my premium subscription.

Sorry to go against the grain, but it had to be said. The people at Fileplanet are doing a great job, not to mention generously giving out their expensive bandwidth to support the community.

Hi Blue, just letting you know you're a little behind on C:SS. The game is already out, and is an excellent follow-up to the greatest side-scroller of all time. You can tell the original team did this one, as it is just so over the top and incredibly fun.

Oh, did I mention its also HAAAAAARD...., hehe.

EDIT: I see Blue has retracted the story. Thnx for being on top of things, you do a great job.

Ah, fabulous, I can hardly contain my excitement, as this has been one of my most anticipated games since it was announced. Now that its out, looks like Planetside gets bumped to #1.

Man, between BF1942, IceWind Dale II, Mafia, Hitman, and UT2003, I need there to be 36 hours in the day.....

Ah, such is the life of obsession....

Excellent Demo Aug 20, 2002, 17:35

Being a huge fan of the first game, this demo delivers in spades. Right off the bat I could count no less than 6 ways to simply enter the area, and 9 ways to kill the don. This flexibility is something that was sorely missed in the original.

I've had no problems whatsoever except for some minor static on the sound, which will most likely be fixed for release.

The games absolute sense of style is retained, and I am proud to say this game has everything I missed in the original. While there is no in-mission save in the demo (the release will have it) I always was one who never terribly minded the no in-game save, I found it helped add to the challenge of completing a hit in a full swing, and not just creep and save like so many FPSs.

Kudos to IO for perfecting the original, this game is already on full reserve for me at the local store, and I am counting the days....
