I was on the fence about this one so maybe it'll sway me, but it's going to need to do a lot to fall into my current roster of Call of Duty, AA 2.0, Commandos 3, and SSX3.

I personally enjoy 3rd person games more on consoles though. I don't know why, but playing games like Splinter Cell or even Max Payne on PC feels weird to me.
I agree with this as well. The only game I've felt somewhat comfortable on PC was the Freedom Fighters demo, because you got that nifty over-the-shoulder aim view. I played the whole game on console though, and while it took getting used to the loss of precision control, I eventually felt comfortable with it and enjoyed the hell out of it.
EDIT: I completely forgot the Hitman series, being one of my favorite series of all time. There is no way I would have played that on a console.

Um, not really. I guess your counterstrike self may have played thru splinter cell guns blazing, but I stealthed it, and this is definitely not a stealth game. The usage of cover is very well done from what I've seen of the preview videos, and the ability to use suppressing fire and blind firing from behind cover to freak out your enemies is a welcome addition to the fearless enemies seen in virtually every game sans Call of Duty. That said, it may turn out to just be a gimmicky trait as I haven't played the game yet, but I have high hopes for it.

Aye, this game is definitely one of the most overlooked and underhyped gems of the modern tactical shooter community. I too quit playing it due to the massive cheating, and vowed I wouldn't be back until there was some substantial new content. This looks to be it, and I'll be happy to give it another shot tomorrow.
