Although it's quite likely nothing is going to come of this, I don't want Garret to be a whiny introspective soul-searcher (nothing against Tobey McGuire, I just don't think he'd fit the part even with amazing acting talent).

Speaking of TBS, has anyone tried the new Urban Chaos TC for Jagged Alliance 2? The voice acting and cutscenes *suck*, but the updates are so top notch that I am completely addicted to JA2 again. I'm going to have to peel myself away from it to play the amazingly excellent Silent Storm, but it sure is fun.

I'm a die-hard fan of Thief but my best friend is obsessed with it, T2:tMA is his favorite game of all time. It breaks my heart to see him after he played DX2, knowing that the same team is doing Thief.
However, it is really hard to screw up a Thief game, unless you decide that the sneaking is overrated and thieves need more sniper rifles and BFG9000's.

Sounds like Interplay may be caving to the HUGE backlash with their *stunningly* dumb decision, so they're pretending it didn't happen. It's the AT&T Whitelist all over again. Hopefully Black Isle will get more flexibility out of the deal.
