Professional, why do you think it felt like an expansion?
They added 3 new races, a new level system, a new campaign, more tilesets and graphic options, new spells, more units(I love the new dragons), and a bunch of new items.
What more do you think they needed to add? Boats?
If you have any good ideas then go post them on the WBC3 forum. it looks and feels very old-fashioned in a genre racing ahead to embrace 3D graphics and streamlined gameplay.
It appears that the developers have recycled the aging, 2D graphics engine
I like to play something that looks different. And how many people can run C&C Generals on a laptop?
I've read on the wbc forum that if WBC3 sells well, then WBC4 will be 3D. It's a fairly long and drawn-out process to build up a base
If you really hate base building then give yourself high resources, high retinue points, be a dark dwarf, and be a merchant. You'll have an army of Golems in like 1 minute. That's pretty long and drawn out..... This comment was edited on May 25, 16:46.
