News Comments > Free Steam Key for Fallout 76 Owners

6. Re: Free Steam Key for Fallout 76 Owners Apr 2, 2020, 13:26 GinRummy

Bethesda finally does something nice for their peons. Happy to see this and I wish more exclusives did this after their year or so of being off Steam. I have several games on Origin and Uplay that exist on Steam now but that I bought on their main system because I had to at the time. It bugs me when I see them on Steam as "not owed" even though I do, but not enough to buy another copy, even on sale, just to be completionist.

A line to buy physical copies? I remember doing that in the 90s. Not since, though. Online is not only usually cheaper, but faster and easier. I think the last actual boxed game I got was through Amazon, but that was a LONG time ago. Does Canada not have the internet yet?

That looks... tedious? I platformer with such sluggish response looks extremely frustrating. I've got I am Bread, but I've yet to play it. it's on "the list" for some day, but pretty far down.

I remember playing the first Elder Scrolls game "Arena" where you could make it really easy by going to one of the provinces and getting the quest for a vampiric ebony sword. It would turn damage done into health, which unless you got very unlucky, would keep your HP topped up enough against almost anything for the rest of the game.

Can you enjoy the game if you don't like rap music? I do like guns, though.

We expect discounts on launch now? Isn't launch exactly when you shouldn't expect a discount?
Green Man has spoiled me. Even AAA titles on release day can be found for 10 to 15% off or more, usually. I'm sure this one will be cheap or free pretty soon. I do hope they make some money on it though, as I loved the original and would love to see other old games updated to modern specs.

Wasteland was the game that started me on loving RPGs back in the days of floppy discs. After beating the game you could start over using the same party and keep all their skills just resetting the game world. I did that dozens of times and they kept leveling up and getting new ranks and titles. They were the gods of the wasteland!

So he hates EA but he wants to play in their tournaments while he rags on them more? Sorry, I can't see how EA banning him is any less than he deserves. Don't bite the hand that feeds you is ANCIENT advice. He can still spew about EA just without getting paid by them now to do so.

Maybe possibly they think this is taking place in the "Far east" instead of just east US in Maine? Anyway, this is a bit too reactionary for just one guy nearby with the disease, who is obviously not attending.

I need to try playing this again. I played a fairly early (but not the initial) release and got frustrated by inventory limits after about ten hours of play.

I played the demo, which was enough for me to know not to spend money on it. It was Okay, but nothing great. The whole release looked kinda like a demo from what I heard, with not much depth.

Ha, I do the same thing. I see System Shock and conflate it all together. I'm not feeling a lot of hope for the remake, either, but it's still chugging along and giving updates, so maybe...

I've just played this for about an hour or so. Interesting and pretty fun so far. Vampire bite for healing during combat REALLY helps keeps the potion drinking down.
