From what I'm reading, a year ago there were major issues with broken gameplay, bad controls, and many bugs reported, and now we have the exact same code on PC without any fixes or updates, apparently. Cash grab from old reputation and not a modern serious update.

The Kickstarter for this game tanked (sorry, but I'm posting this just for that pun) but it seems like they're gonna go ahead and release the game anyway, if maybe cut back on features.

There is no list, and it didn't have secret information, and that information wasn't meant to be public, and these are not the droids you're looking for!

Looks a lot like Atom, the similar style isometric turn-based post-apoc RPG set in Russia that came out a couple years ago.

This looks fun, if a little last-gen graphics. Have good hopes for it, please don't disappoint.

Fake BBC studio: Good advice is to automatically figure that anything you look at and say "Ooh, cool!" is fake/greenscreen/VR/CGI.

I finished Biomutant and enjoyed it a lot, with some good open-world fun and questing. Bit too much junk loot clogging your bags that you gotta continually sell off, and it's kinda weird setting, but worth it on sale. EDIT: apparently the latest patch addresses loot and junk annoyances, but i've not tried it.

I swear I first read that headline as "threatened with beans" although I'm not exactly sure how that would work.

Too many Jeopardy guest hosts already had other lucrative jobs that they would never leave for the show. They should have had a few more actual auditioning people and less stunt/popular casting during this period. I did think that first producer guy did a good job and he's already running the show, so... yeah, I can see the interest. Of the available hosts, some did pretty good but were too off in enthusiasm, too much or too little, or had other bit that didn't fit. But they only had a week or two, and I'm sure even Alex worked on getting into the job when he started. Love the show, will watch whoever when it comes back from break.

I'm a firm believer in disabling or setting to low, things like anti aliasing, shadows and depth of field for lower end performance improvements. Those 3 things will probably gain you +10fps minimum.
I almost always disable Lens Flare and Motion Blur, which are both distracting to me and help up the framerate.

I had fun with FC 5, mostly, but when the plot pulled you out of whatever you were doing to force you into a story encounter that could take up to an hour to get through... it was annoying. I wish it let you put off that for a short bit and you could choose to do it at your own time. The standalone DLC/Expansion that came out after was also fun and had much less of that annoyance.

Police/ShotSpotter TL;DR: Shotspotter AI software reports a probable gunshot a few block away from a police incident around the same time. Police tell humans to alter the data to "correct" the wrong information about where the detected shot occured since they "know" it happened at that location. Police then use this "evidence" in court to try to prove that at shot occured at the incident at the time, because some AI software spotted it, without mentioning that the AI was manually corrected.

I played it once I got it on sale about a month after release. I enjoyed it a lot and didn't have very many bugs, no showstoppers. Yeah, it was released too early, but really, you're not gonna find a lot of those bugs without a widespread player base of a full release, so it's a compromise in a game that big and complicated. Patience and not being a pre-order beta person is the key to enjoyment.

Wasn't "Super Squad" one of the rejected names for the group in the movie Mystery Men?
