I'd like to know how this game is training kids to be killers? I've been shooting guns since I was a kid. Started at 10 years old shooting squirrels with a double barrel .410 shotgun. Now that im 28, I've been shooting for 18 years, and out of those 18, 10 years have had FPS games around, starting with DooM. And I'll say this, I havnt improved a bit playing shooter games. My game of choice to play is counter-strike and it doesnt help me a bit when I actually go out to shoot. In real life, I participate in Cowboy Action Shooting. Basicly, you shoot at steel targets as fast and as accurate as possible, while using Single Action Revolvers, Lever action Rifles, and a double barrel shotgun. So far, I havnt seen a lick of improvement out of playing Counter-strike (or the Wild West mod for RtCW) going towards actual shooting.
Point is, its just ignorance that allows these people to think that a game like America's Army will train kids in violent acts. You'ld figure it would show the horrors of war and spook off the kids that dont want to be in the army.
ok... im off my soap box now.
I love to go down to the schoolyard and watch kids run around and scream...
They dont know that I'm only using blanks.
