this should never have been touched by sony... I was doubting friends who said that verant and sony are evil and only want money to build Sony's Deathstar... but I thought since they did Everquest, They'll have the best experience to pull this off.. I played this the other night with a Wookie running around Corelia... walked up to a butterfly and shot it. The butterfly proceded to get midevil on my hairy wookie rear and kill me... that wasnt right at all... Wookies tear arms off droids for crying out loud and a little butterfly killed me!!!!!!! It was like they let in the creaters of Ultima Online into the game... Had the same thing happen to me playing that game. walked outside of town only to have a deer run up and kill me.. maybe its just me...

Both involved the Moon and massive accidents to it that caused it to breakup and hit the earth.
Don't forget Thundar the Barbarian, the Moon was all crushed in that one too.

Dunno how many get to watch Tech TV and watch the Martin Sargent Show, but they had a guy on there a couple days ago that was saying Planet X was going to swing by the earth causing a massive reversal in the electromagnetic fields and massive earthquakes... I dont think I have laughed harder in my life.. First time I heard them say planet X I was thinking Holy Crap! Powerpuff Girls are going to invade!

If something does happen it will be human caused. Were too damn stupid to realize what the concequences of our actions will be.. or to even think them out properly. Two of the ones I think that will happen are from the Anime series Cowboy Bebop and from the remade movie The Time Machine. Both involved the Moon and massive accidents to it that caused it to breakup and hit the earth.

Ok, I'll admit that if MS gets the jump on HL2 and make it an Xbox exclusive, Redmond will probably be wiped off the face of the planet by all the folks out there who play on the PC. My guess is valvE headquarters will be forcably taken over by militant PC Gamers, and the programers forced into slavery to churn out the PC version (wait, thats what MS is trying to do isnt it? )

As for the Xbox itself, its an ok console. I dont own one or probably never will either as my problems with it are trivial (Paying for Xbox Live? ack... big controlers, have to buy dvd upgrade to play dvd movies) PS2 maybe an older console, but at least they arent trying to milk every dollar out of you.

Gotta love how Fileshack has taken up downloading items like Fileplanet has... had a 10 min wait to get this file.. stepped away to do some other things, come back to discover that my 5 min window of download opportunity has passed and I must restart my wait which jumped to 20 min now.. lovely. Just makes me want to find and throttle the guy that came up with this system.

Actually, my dad used to do that when he went from driving a manual transmission to driving an automatic when he bought a new truck. Old habit of having his foot on the clutch I guess.

living in central Illinois, I was driving home from work that night when I saw the flash from this and how long that lasted.. was quite spectacular and scary... for a while I thought a nuclear power plant had gone chernobal espically since there is one about 30 min drive from where i live.

Its an ok demo.. was getting shot up till I realized it used my joystick and not the keyboard Might be a fun game on a console if its rented. Seems like it maybe a short game also.
