PATCHES MUST BE DOWNLOADED OR COPIED INTO THE FOLDER WHERE UC IS INSTALLED AND EXECUTED FROM THERE. DO NOT EXECUTE PATCHES FROM THE DESKTOP!!! I guess the patch program's not programmed to find the executable/install directory?
Attention developers, make your patch programs as fool proof as possible. Requiring users to understand the concept of a directory structure can be an excercise in futility.

Tom:
There's a gamedaily article which quoted Infinium's Bachus as saying that HardOCP's Bennett didn't show up for the CES meeting because he feared for his personal safety.

Errr I think that's just the product website on Relic.com... not the official site.
All the official sites for Relic's games have been hosted by the producers.

From a thread on the Relic Warhammer Forum.
http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=22000
Relic and Warhammer 40,000
For those of you who know, play, and care about Warhammer 40,000 and are wondering if Relic knows thing one about the license some, hopefully, reassuring news:
There are about 15 people at Relic who are hardcore Warhammer players, most of which are on the Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War team. We have more than one person here who have been playing since Rogue Trader days (that's 1987 for you non-Warhammer people). We play lots of 40k, and usually have at least a couple of games running at lunch.
I myself have no less than 6 armies (Orks (about 4000 points), Space Wolves, Tyranids, Iron Warriors, and fledgling Tau and Eldar armies), and am an avid collector, painter, and player, so this project is really a dream come true for many of us.
We know you're passionate about the license, just wanted to let you know that we are as well. As always, we'll do our best to satisfy.
