Funfact, high end water cooling doesn't use water. It's called liquid cooling for a reason. ^^

Which liquid has better thermal transfer properties than water? We should use it in car radiators!
Well if youre nitpicking on common terms...
Its called water cooling. Because it uses mainly water. Water is actually very good for thermal transfer cooling, because its not just about taking in heat but also giving it up again. Water is the best in that respect.
Thats also why you dont use much antifreeze in a car if you dont really need it. I personally run 80% water, 19% antifreeze and 1% additive that prevents bubbles sticking to walls (in my car), which is good for only slightly under 0°C, because its a summer car anyway. I got a significantly lower maximum water temperature because of that.
And distilled water is much closer to pure H2O than tap water, of course. So it should always be used in applications like that to prevent any build up of anything organic. Oxidation isnt a problem, because you dont use naked steel/iron anyway. Theres always only copper or aluminum used, whichs oxidation layer actually prevents further oxidation and doesnt affect thermal transfer much.

Can we get an alternative to Windows already, please?
I know that will be a giant hassle with all the licences and other legal crap, but please someone at least try...
Microsoft obviously doesnt care anymore.
We already have an alternative. www.LINUX.com
Stick a small ssd in your box and dual boot. Start learning Linux, there's a lot of resources available. In no time you'll be using that alternative to Windows and be rid of Redmond.
I didnt think someone would be that stupid on this site to post that BS argument. Guess I was wrong. But im not surprised its you.
Just because you were dropped on your head as a child does not mean you repeatedly have to remind us about it.
Don't you have some kids on xbox live you need to yell at and call them a bundle of sticks?
On a PC GAMING website you suggest Linux as an alternative for Windows. And then you think I fell on the head? What happened to your head then? A bulldozer squished it?

There is no question that Linux (and MacOS) are alternatives if you only do basic work on Windows. They have been for a very long time. For gaming there is no alternative. Not even after Steam pushed it that hard.

If a paid expansions to a F2P game and an incredibly expensive piece of hardware and small games make the Steam top 10, is it safe to say that Epic is pretty successful at making Steam sell a LOT less than ever before? And in maybe screwing Steam customers out of the games they bought there if Steam should wind down one day? Uhoh Uneasy
That incredibly expensive hardware seems to be sold quite a lot though, if it can beat the "new account for the banned cheaters" games like GTA5 and PUBG.

Can anyone that has experience with GTA5 how the keyboard/mouse controls were? Just curious as to what to expect for RDR2... good enough to use, or am I going to end up plugging in a controller out of frustration?

As far as I can remember, they keyboards and mouse controls were completely fine when actually playing. Some of the various vehicle controls were a bit finicky (mostly planes and helicopters) but were manageable with a keyboard and mouse.

The biggest issue that my friends and I had though was the atrocious UI that the game had. A lot of menus and options seem needlessly broken up into hidden-away menus and keybinds that made absolutely no sense (making a private multiplayer session with friends was always a hassle).

I suppose that's what happens when it's a port of a console game. But still, I would think that the console UI could have been heavily streamlined and been less messy and chaotic if it's similar to the PC port.

I fully expect them to have made no changes whatsoever to the RDR2 UI, and it was truly the worst UI made for a game I've ever played. Fifty hours in I was STILL fighting the damn UI, and still randomly shooting people in the face in the midst of town when all I wanted to do was activate an item, etc. It's truly terrible.

The PC has like 100+ keys available, but I'm pretty convinced they will use zero of them.
So they havent improved at all since GTA 5. Sounds worse actually.
Ive never seen a more unintuitive UI and controls like in GTA 5. Even after 700+ hours in it, I still often am lost in menus or bring up the phone instead of the action menu and press the wrong button because they have no logic or uniformity.

This is pretty big in the GW2 circle. He was the glue holding this game together, director or not, during the many weird things that has happened over the years. The fallout in the community won't be pretty; the uncertainty in the games future is immeasurable.
Thats not the reason for its demise.
Lack of content, boring classes/gameplay, lack of progression, and politics displayed in a game are the issue. And that downfall has been going on for a much longer time.

Only the whales, who, for whatever reason, love that the only content is cosmetic, are keeping it running.

Sometimes people only work in certain areas. When i was a maintenance tech at a fab i did not work in the cafeteria when they were short handed, nor did the grill chef come into the fab and cycle purge the SiH4 gas line before we changed out a mass flow controller. odd how that works
So they never fired people or hired new ones? How odd indeed.
