Is it even true 4K? Or some lower resolution or some form of DLSS?
If you wanted a PC like that, you would need to pay close to $1.5k.

In any case, I love it. Because it means games are going to look better and PC hardware over 8 cores is going to be utilized much better from now on. Not to mention 32 GB RAM will be the new standard now and new graphics cards will need much more power and VRAM as well.
Im looking at you, Nvidia.

I wonder how many Index headsets they sold...

Some hardware issues I see on reddit for this new batch from production include one lens not displaying an image, the controller thumb sticks with 'drifting' input, and some finicky cables. None of which seem to be occurring beyond normal failure rates.

If they had more to sell I'd have one by now, but I don't.. so I guess they sold less than they could have Who knows what is in 8 weeks, probably a 28days later scenario...
Or 30 days of night. Once their toilet paper runs out from wiping everything they or someone else touches

Its the first CoD/BF Ive looked at since a long time and thought that it actually looks half decent and kind of fun. And I even thought about playing it. But I didnt, not only because its free and that means its sooner or later getting totally and utterly steamrolled by cheaters. There were already plenty in the streams I watched.
Still more than I could say about the other crap before.

This always happens in a crisis. Was even 2008 like that. Games were still sold well, home electronics too, especially consoles and TVs.
Its cheap entertainment that keeps you busy.

I played this game a bit and the story seems pretty interesting, but the graphics engine is garbage.

I liked the graphics, but the story looked very bad, incl. completely senseless dialogue that made it seem even more weird. Plus the whole game felt like a stereotypical bad console port from around 2005.

I dont like jump and run games at all. The last one I really played seriously was Super Mario Land on my Gameboy.
But this game is just fantastic, as is the previous one.
Cant stop playing it.

Black Mesa review - Rock Paper Shotgun.

So it's aged, so what? Still gonna play the hell out of it this weekend.

They completely redid Xen. Its much better now than on the original, feels like a totally different game.
I can only criticize the weapon sounds. Especially the shotgun and SMG. They sound horrible.
Oh and you get stuck all the time. Not completely stuck, but getting blocked from moving by tiny items on the ground and other things, which can ultimately mess up a jump and make you die. I guess its just the aging engine and I am used to more modern ones.

And the pizza is indeed a lie.

Nowadays a game like that would make Twitter implode.

How cool would it be though to have this game alive again, I've never played it against someone "on the internet", just LANs with friends.
Well they did that to see if there is still a market for such genres. They fuck them up and think theres no market.

Only reason I bought EA in the past was either because they were pretty much done content wise already or they were much cheaper than the finished version and showed great promise so I would play it for sure when it would be finished.

I dont see anything of that here. What I saw so far doesnt impress me much. Doesnt feel/look like Forgotten Realms at all and I am not a fan of turn based combat either.

Romans were building very straight roads a loooong time ago because they knew in the long run it was a better idea. It was the landowners parceling the land into packets that caused curvy paths/roads/rights of way.
I am German. We see it every day: Some "concerned" organization claiming this and that needs to be protected. Even if its just beetles (im not joking).

Theres a prominent case where it has been 40 years for an Autobahn (A1) to be finished because of it. The green and social democrat parties, incl. mentioned organizations have blocked it for that long because of dozens of claimed environmental issues. Theres only a little piece left to complete, yet they still block it, causing massive amounts of traffic to go through rural towns, curvy rural roads and cause much more pollution than that completed Autobahn would, not to mention the damage this does to the economy in that area because its hard to reach without proper Autobahn connection (because of curvy roads with lots of low speed limits).

If property would be the issue, they would simply pay the owners, like they do with windmills and solar cells. Many cases where they actually bought property to get something done, often times its just subsidized property anyway. Thats not the main issue at all.

P.S.: Beamer projecting his own morals onto others again, and accusing them of hypocrisy, I bet. Or claiming crap thats simply isnt true, probably like "why say that about old roads", which he claims dont get renewed all the time and new ones arent being built. Cant tell, because I got him ignored.

To be fair, cutting down trees before the ground is legally sold is maybe a pretty stupid idea when you think about it...
To be fair, our "environment savers" are always finding some BS to make up. Main reason why our rural roads are that massively curvy and thus cause a lot of wasted gas (and soon energy) and tire/brake wear (fine particles).

Wolcen is pretty much fucked with all the exploiting going on. Infinite magic find stack exploit was fixed with the hot fix but the gold dupe is still working and so super easy that people ARE doing it and not even realizing it (has to do with stacking gems, which was a feature just added on launch day). I have a couple friends who were jonesing for a diablo filler but this one is DOA without some sort of complete wipe and re-do. Ideally after another 6-12 months of bug fixing and polish but ofc that won't be happening.
What do you mean? Thats the perfect Diablo-filler. Diablo 1 & 2 were just like that.

The rest of the games on there?
lol no.
But honestly, the last year was really shitty in terms of games. So shitty that people started playing Minecraft again. On Youtube!

Really?? I really don't see UGG is better than game like Disco Elysium. I would put Disco Elysium and The Outer Worlds before UGG.

UGG is great for meme.... That seems to be very important nowadays.
Memes? I havent seen a single meme with it.

If I want to play in a dystopia, I look out the window or watch the news.

That is your reason not to play Disco Elysium?! I wonder what is your reason you want to play UGG more than others?
Its something original, funny and not depressing.
