It's a sign of the times that I'd be more hyped if this were based on Critical Role campaign 1 lore than Baldurs Gate lore.
Also I remain unhyped - since I really didn't like the gameplay demo they showed. So many things that made it not DnD 5e and rather DOS 3.0, nothing wrong with that, but I want DOS 3 more than I want a DOS 3 that looks like Baldurs Gate
This is exactly what I got from the video... glad I'm not alone.
Same here. The demo had DOS all over it. And since it's both a high fantasy setting, they really have to get out of their way to convince me I'm playing a Forgotten Realms game and not another DOS.

What dumbasses. I remember vividly how I sold about a dozen of Stone to Flesh scrolls to Baldurs Gate merchants.
Gorion would be proud of your actions!

"Go for the eyes, Boo! GO FOR THE EYES!!!! rAAAaaUGH!"
You know its entirely possible that Minsc will be in BG3, as it's apparently set about a hundred years or so after the events of BG2. Minsc and Boo were petrified at one point and placed in the market square of Baldur's Gate - known as The Wide. Over time the statue become known as the Beloved Ranger, until about 70 years after its 'construction' a wild magic surge went off nearby and dispelled the petrification.

Just amazing how much nonsense is being spread. Instead of believing their own eyes and ears, which doesn't sync with reality, they'd prefer to believe there are vast conspiracies across the planet involving millions of people coordinating thousands of stories at once so that the media can control us. "These media companies are all lying to you! The truth is being told by a high school drop out on Youtube!" they scream. "Can you provide any evidence these news stories are fake?" "Um...gotta go!"

Way too far out. After all this bullshit they'll want money sooner than later. Besides, it's been 7 years since V. It'll be out next year.
And it'll be filled with MTs with the SP as an afterthought.
GTA5 SP content after launch was a joke.
You are out of your mind. Who cares about the online microtransactions? You can completely ignore that side of it and still the offline content in GTA5 dwarfs 99% of other games, just as its predecessors did in their time. They never made any promises about post-launch SP content, that was always just wishful thinking from the fans, same as how they now clamor for an RDR1 campaign add-on for RDR2. That doesn't take away from the massive amount of big budget action-adventure they gave you for $60... I thought people who don't like microtransactions WANT the entire, complete game to be included in that one-time purchase?

Words cannot describe the seriously bad management there ...

and PUBG nowhere to be seen since the diabolical 7.2 patch.
Will go down as the most self sabotaging, godawful and contrary understanding of their own product in gaming history and nobody is listening.

DOOM Eternal. Disappointment of 2020.
The Half Elf wrote on May 21, 2020, 06:20:Wrong. I still like a lot of games if they are well made and something new. I even started to like platformers recently, after playing the Ori games.
Sorry to go against the grain, but most of us are old school gamers and these games just aren't for us anymore. Back in the day we had Tomb Raider, Doom, Quake, Duke Nukem, SimCity, Xwing, etc etc etc.
This is this generations version of Team Fortress 1 or 2/Rainbow Six/etc. Not for us, not for us "to get".
Reactor wrote on May 20, 2020, 22:15:Youre not the only one. Creativity is dying, at least in the mainstream or where mainstream is the goal. No wonder when political correctness is dictating your every thought.
All of these games look exactly the same to me. It's like someone said to a bunch of 17 year old artists, "Just go wild making a bunch of random and generic art assets - we'll shove them an equally generic looking shooter."

I thought Denuvo was piracy protection, not anti-cheat protection? Or do they do both now?
Also, damage control got a lot of ass kissing from redditors, making Bethesda sound like the second coming of Jesus. Oh sure, devs didn't know what they were doing or didn't test the changes on Linsux (Forgive me Burrito, I have sinned).

Wait, so you can create value by focusing on making great games instead of exploiting gamers through loot boxes and microtransactions???
And without DRM?!?! HERESY!
Who would've thought! /s
Don't forget, making literally the best game ever made. And they're about to do it again.
Fuck you Epic, Ubi, EA, and Bethesda. CDPR is the only good publisher left.
The best RPG yes, at least this decade, the best GAME... well that is debatable.

I like these games but I hate their story telling. It's broken and isn't coherent. If you watched a movie like this you'd say it's the biggest piece of shit.
None of you guys can tell me the story of bloodborne without watching youtubes and such. I put 180 hours into bloodborne and still cannot tell you much more than Some dude got stuck in the "Dream" world trying to contact gods for the all powerful blood.
Souls games are even more nebulous. Requiring you to read every item and interpret the area around it to try and piece together a story.
If the story was actually good and coherent, you wouldn't have a bunch of youtubers trying to come up with STORY THEORY videos.

While it's fine to enter the registry manually and make changes to particular programs, I certainly agree with author that using "registry cleaners" is a bad, bad idea...;) Because usually they "clean" too much...;) Could leave you with an unworkable system, easily. But no danger in doing things manually, as long as you know what you are doing, etc.
