Blade Runner and Alien TV shows are in the works, Ridley Scott says.

I could only watch one episode of Raised by Wolves before giving up. Not a lot of hope here...

The first few episodes of Raised by Wolves are amazing. Then it quickly gives birth to a flying snake and makes no sense whatsoever. Ridley Scott is completely unpredictable.

New Gothic screens

It is very cool to come back here every few months and find something to look forward to. Just hoping they don't mess it up, cuz lord knows they done that a few times.

Really looking forward to it. Hopefully they improve on the physics from 20 and Ride 4. Interesting to see them using the LLP but I'm more keen to see if they've attempted the holeshot device.

I read all The Expanse books released so far. The one this season is based on is pretty good.

The book S4 is based on is the worst in the series.

Cibola Burn was a dud and I thought they made something surprisingly good on TV with it considering the abysmal source material, altho they did have to take some material from the next book and mix both a bit to make it more palatable.

Hoping you're right. The trailer makes it look like this season is going to be about character relationships, which I always find the most boring part of a show.

Review-Bombed?? The first 3 episodes were quite weak. In fact, they were just bad. The 3rd episode with the whale and 100 MPH sharks and everyone "meeting up" on shore??...I won't even go into that rubbish. Incredibly disappointed, but things like this happen.

I gave up about midway through episode 2, the show is just boring now. The Deep is just pure cringe and I hit fast forward every time he's on the screen. Homelander was interesting but now that it's established nothing can stop him, why the hell does he stop? For the rest of it, I am not interested in a superhero show about relationships, especially when they are as hackneyed and boring as this. It's just a bad show, there's no need to justify the poor ratings with complaints about the release schedule.

I don't care though, frigging Raised By Wolves is just amazing!

Yeah, Github, great. Which of those folders do I download and where do they go in the game?

You can always buy an Oculus Rift w/ touch controllers for @ $300-400. It still gets the job done as long as you have the rig. Spending $1000 on VR is sort of totally crazy imo.

I mean, you can't buy anything, haha. It's all out of stock.

But I'd go with an Index. This game is clearly optimized for it. Most reviews say that the individual finger control is better, though many also say it's hard to reach all the buttons.

But yeah, you can go cheaper on the device. You're still looking at $300 for a low end Samsung unit that may be discontinued (and is OOS everywhere), or $400+ otherwise. Plus a PC that can handle it.

I think the only sensible thing to do would be to wait a few weeks and then get a used headset off eBay. It's not like people are going to be using them for anything else after they finish this game.

I was really disappointed with it in general. The missions were just too generic and repetitive, after about 2 hours you've pretty much seen it all, aside from tech upgrades.

I thought VR was finally dead and had been carried off the field. Love Sniper Elite but fuck if I want to buy a VR rig for the new game.

I'd really prefer if he were working with CD Projekt Red on this. Dark Souls is about fighting the same damn boss 20x in a row. If that's your thing, then cool, but I just find them and their iterations (Bloodborne, Sekiro, and even The Surge) boring now.

I could not be more excited about tonight's release of the Deadwood movie

So damn good. Was initially put off by how old they all looked but after 5 minutes it didn't matter. I honestly cannot believe how good it was after watching the GOT disaster just a couple of weeks ago. I guess true craft is still out there.

Hmm, so Tim Berners-Lee has teamed up with some people to make an application which is a browser, calendar, mail client -- nice. So, how does that upend the World Wide Web?

I don't understand it either. It seems like he's running these apps in a virtual machine of some kind that limits the way they would typically store/harvest information offsite. It sounds interesting but I'm completely uncertain as to how it is implemented. For all intents and purposes it sounds like vapor ware to me.

What a sad story. I can only imagine how the hell I would have typed on Twitter if that was a thing when I was in my late teens to early 20s.

Still, stay off Twitter(and all social media for that matter) kids, the internet is forever.

My daughter had accounts on most of the SM platforms. Then about a year ago she closed them all and hasn't been on since. "They're fake and stupid." There's hope for the future.

You're certain she didn't just open accounts under a different username that mom and dad don't know about? Cuz that's what most kids do.

TweakTown guestimates that there will be two variants, a less expensive $999 card and a $1,499 model with more RAM on board.

Die in a fire. That is too much god damn money.

Actually, fuck that. Give me another one, please, I'm easy.
