Perhaps that's in Europe or Canada then. In the U.S. safety is directly proportional to the (amount big companies spend on lobbying against it) - (average insurance payout) / (corporate profits for fiscal year) - (executive golden parachutes and misc. perks)

Newer Telco poles are designed to snap at bumper height with sufficient (not, as you may assume, 200mph) speed. Built in safety. It's how someone in the Navy managed to snap one in 2 with a Ninja crotch-rocket, he didn't make it as would be expected, but it's still impressive for a 600 pound bike.

Obviously they are taking their lead from the DVD manufacturers!

1) Put out mediocre DVD with standard screen
2) Re-Release same DVD in widescreen
3) Re-Release 'Director's Cut' of same movie
3) Re-Release 'Collectors Edition' with more crap
4) Re-Release 'Platinum Edition', with one more deleted scene

FU Activision, you go to hell! You go to hell and you die! Mr. Hat

One of the enemies literally rammed his weapon through the wall via the horrible clipping and shot me.

Other than that, this game rocks. Loved how they sped up the M60 to be more realistic, that thing can chew ammo whew!

I want my OICW, when's it on ebay?

OK, I hereby acknowledge that RTCW isn't the only game that has these problems, I was in a shitty mood and felt like an argument. For the statements I made towards this, I am sorry. To the Blues regulars, I sank down to troll levels and regret it.

That being said, I believe that my frustrations lie with not the players of RTCW, but the limited types of online gaming it provides. In my opinion, if there were standard DM, where teams were not a factor, this stated problem would mostly alleviate itself. By forcing people to work in teams, the game creates frustration among the, lets say, less than mature players. This in turn, creates a backlash after so many hours of having to put up with n00bs and other general distractions.

In a perfect world, everyone would be on the same note, all players working fully towards a common objective. This unfortunatly happens infrequently at best playing RTCW online, in my opinion. If RTCW were to offer a standard DM mode, with ammo pickups and even perhaps health and armor, I think the team gaming community as a whole would benefit drastically. Those that don't want to have to follow orders (or give them) would have ~their~ servers, while the team-based fans would be left alone to their own devices.

So, to sum it up, all games have their respective contingent of assholes and morons, but all parties would benefit greatly by creating a pure DM mode in RTCW.

I also regret taking so long to get back to this thread, I fear that this response will go largely unread, and StinkyFiddlewinks will from hereon out be labeled a troll. I am not.

I take that back, multiplayer full of morons and assholes, sometimes a combination of both. Better to just kill everyone in genuine deathmatch

Just don't try and run Outlook, Photoshop and Max at the same time!

Why not, I frequently run Photoshop, Max, and Flash and still fire up SofMPTest now and then without any problems

Anyway, I had a dream about DOOM III (ugh, it's already in my head ), I was playing it with a geForce6, if that means anything to anyone.

It will have the rest of life in the military included?

Like activities such as guard duty in below zero temperatures, 16 hour shifts in the motor pool, driving tanks on 3 hours of broken sleep, changing track in 3 feet of mud, marching 12 miles in full chemical gear, trying to keep down that delicious food from the mess hall, searching a 10 mile area for night vision goggles that some punk thought it would be a good idea to try and steal, burning human waste out in the desert, pushups in the morning because your shave isn't close enough, or my favorite...standing at parade rest in the hot sun while some blowhard general gives a 4 hour speech. Just to name a few...really.

Everything they make from now on is PS2 only.

That's a crock of shit, like movie companies putting out a DVD, then putting out a widescreen version DVD, then putting out a fucking collectors edition DVD, and finally (sometimes not) a Platinum edition DVD. All ploys to bilk more money out of idiot consumers.

I was thinking about picking up GTA3 for PC today, this has severly affected my opinion in a negative way.

I put some more thought into this, and my guess is that the game producers don't show screenshots in AA mode because n00b gamers with access to lawyers might see the screens looking great, then try pull some shit when their crappy card has jaggies.

Personally, I play all the games that don't crash with AA on, with AA on :-) RTCW, SOF2Test, all AA, and I'm shocked if I'm not in the top 2.

Watch out for "The Hentai Avenger" when SoF2 comes out, I think I finally found a game that matches ME ;-)
