The TV show didn't hold me to the end of S1. Someone mentioned continuum, this was good in S1, ok in S2 fading to poor then S3 has gotten better.

Cant believe I missed this. Was playing NS2 and rising storm for the past week. This is *excellent* news. The trick with crafting is the better sets. Some sets needed SILLY amounts of grind (yes captain crimson im looking at you!) plus some are almost mandatory (aughild etc). Sometimes you couldnt get enough mats to reroll a bad set. This now changes. with a royal ring of grandeur you can build some neat characters.

like ebay really care. A few published articles on how they combat it and business as usual. after all, ebay gets a cut out of the final sale value so shill bidders help them...

News Comments > Free Natural Selection 2 Map
10. Re: Free Natural Selection 2 Map May 5, 2014, 04:38 Armengar

The main problem was the sheer stubbornness of the devs. No one will want combat so we arent adding it. What? Noon wants big servers so 8v8 it is. What? HA replaced with fairly useless exos.
The answer "mod it in if you want". So people mod to a frameless game thus have their mods broken on a weekly basis, the result is a pissed of playerbase who leave. A shame as it had potential ruined by shortsightedness.

I already have 1GBs wifi using ubiquiti kit. Works well for extending our network to smaller buildings (well huts) that otherwise wouldnt have gotten a proper cable run - such as the cricket pavilion and the storage sheds.

You have clearly never worked with normal everyday people who have no idea how the majority of scams work. Even the national news is telling people that companies may be emailing you to tell you to change your password after the heartbleed bug.

I feel sorry for some people who just didnt understand how they got hacked (havi g spent many hours fixing pcs compromised by drive by java exploits - even though they had left autoupdate set etc).

I agree anyone techie enough to read here deserves all they get though.

44. Re: Diablo III Reaper of Souls Launch Party Mar 25, 2014, 07:13 Armengar

logged in at 10pm, go live was at 11pm. I think I had about 2 minutes of red connection and a bit of warping. Then all smooth again. Activated the wings and all seems well. Got my inferno 2 WD from 60 to 64 in about 1 hour playing through act 5.

Cant wait to unlock the next NPC (shes just joined the party) so I can reroll some "almost perfect" items that ive been saving.

Found a few drops in act 5 that have been keepers. Still rocking my zunimassa though even though a few have dropped the old school approaches. Ive crafted a good weapon some time ago and reasonable bracers. Not had as much luck with shoulders or amulet (the amulet if fine though). The belt dropped last thing, replaced some gold diggers (going to swap pyro for rain of toads since it has the % on them)

6. Re: Diablo III Reaper of Souls New Skill Videos Mar 20, 2014, 11:34 Armengar

I dusted off D3 for a run. Probably first time ive played in over 6 months. It really has changed, its almost a different game now. My previous comfortable MP6 WD plays just fine in inferno 2, inferno 3 is tricky. My other characters are about the same level as I would expect too.

Loot wise, within 10 minutes I had a legendary that was an increas on my already decently kitted out WD. Same with my barbarian, some of the loot that was dropping was an upgrade.

Crafting is simple now, that is good. I did spend 10 minutes creating and deleting new characters to get a buffer of common debris from the starting equipment. Overall positive, i'll probably play a bit more this weekend.

Russia vs US? It will be bigger than that. Even Germany is starting to get behind the Ukraine and they have a lot to lose. Gas is the only currency Russia has over Europe. If they shut the pipeline then Europe lose 30% of its gas supply overnight - that will be enough to plunge countries into darkness.

France, Spain and UK are much less reliant on Russian gas for the obvious reasons above. Germany not so.

However, Russia needs the gas to survive financially, their banks have already gone from 5% to 7% interest in a week. That is not a good sign. US and Europe can simply add targetted sanctions. This is no longer USSR days where black market goods were only for the wealthy, even regular citizens want their starbucks. If the sanctions are piled on then it wont be as easy as sending the KGB to shut the masses up. The military is not quite a commissar based as the old soviet days either, troops are taught more, require more and are paid more.

Crimea will be annexed, that is obvious but the cost to Russia will be great as borders will simply close to Russia. UK will start fracking and release the massive reserves that are already being proven to plug the Russian gas gap. Russia will collapse financially or become a Chinese puppet.

Overall the US will sit and wait. They will possibly use this to establish bases, listening posts, fly zone rights etc for monitoring purposes. Overall nothing will happen, Crimea will be annexed and Russia will lose a lot of trade benefits from EU and US. A good indicator will be the number of Oligarchs selling Russian Roubles there is a steady decline of USD vs RUB - not massive yet - but compared to (say) EUR to USD to GBP there is a decline.

it depends on who you have to pay. In the UK courts have a posted limit on coinage accepted to stop this sort of malarky.

You get round it by issuing cheques on silly things. In recent times (past few years) anti fraud legislation means banks can reject silly items if they deem it possibly fraudulent. I admit that might be hard if the customer makes out the cheque after proving identity inside their bank (i.e. make it out on an egg or something).

We treat coop as being multiplayer with monsters on + friendly fire. Genius LAN network cards were great in DOS. We all bought the same ones at the same time so they would work together.

didnt the first release have mouse look missing from the options? Didnt mouse look need to be patch in?

AO was great and according to anecdotal evidence ticked along financially. Then all of a sudden they just ignored it! They had a rabid player base, fans, new signups and nothing. Ignored for other crap.

Shame really as I enjoyed playing too.

D3 often brings huge polarised views here on blues. People tend to either froth at the mouth over it or just play the game (oddly enough there doesnt seem to be many rabid die hard pro-D3 posters...)

I probably wont bother with the expansion. I dont think ive logged in for months now, other things to play, steam sale games to install etc.

It is a bit steep considering it is a DLC/expansion though.
