I have quite a few boxed games that integrated into steam therefore cannot be resold. Personally i dont care as i have never resold a game (dating back to speccy days) cant recall giving one to a mate either. That being said, i live in the eu and it will be interesting to see how the digital media court cases go on.

I remember bonding isdn with my mate for this. Lan parties involved games of "hunt the terminator" and "drivers for genius lan" just as much...

"sticky bomb lika you" wasnt too bad.

"Just like hiroshima" was a bit close to the bone I imagine.

Someone already tried a multiplayer i76 style post apocalyptic affair and it was a terrible mmo mishmash. Alas a single player i76 would be too niche these days.

haters gonna hate. I still log in occasionally. The more pooped on of my friends have been sucked back into wow. Some of the less pooped on still hop into D3.

Cheap items ahoy on the AH. 10M got my WD from comfortable MP4/5 to comfortable MP7 last night. Not bad really.

It is similar to steam wallet. However, does amazon allow part payment? since steam wallet DOES allow part payment it is very easy to zero your account, thus you can save up when you get a discount for loading up your virtual currency and can zero it when you part pay.

Ive had no issues with steam wallet either.

We licenced CS4-Cs6 for £9k for a site licence (tier 1). It will now cost us 13k with the cloud model. It has been such a shake up that the curriculum is being changed to drop flash (was on the cards anyway) and look at alternatives ranging from GIMP, serif even corel(!) we have 6 months remaining till renewal.

So that is one customer adobe has lost, along with all the students who wont need it either (private institution, piracy isnt likely to be an issue)

Sadly, the "escort them from the building" seems to be standard operating procedure in a lot of the game industry. The claim is they're worried you will steal information or designs that belong to the company, or that you will take documents that can be used in corporate espionage. It's more about not letting that information get to the team before you inform them, though, if you ask me. They want to spin the story however they like.

Problem is, with high ranking people they tend to do a lot of work at home and probably already HAVE assets available or backed up. doing crap like this is likely to simply anger them even more.

I'm the same as you. Im currently using an AMD E350 which does the job in a pretty small case (with my cast off first gen 20gb SSD so noise wise almost zero). Not sure how I would run my blu-rays either as I doubt the USB ports will be up to snuff.

But as a cheap iplayer/internet radio box (for the kids), thats another thing entirely.

I also wondered why they had put SOTS on this. Surely what most people in the know remember is that SOTS2 was a super buggy launch. I waited for solid reviews before parting cash for this.

that being said it is fun enough.

xwing alliance STILL gets the odd game at our lan parties. It is still a great coop game. Nothing like having a massive space battle with furballs everywhere. You truly could have you and your mates each have a number of wingmen all forming up for a run on a star destroyer (or two!). Given that you could even have an AI run the shitty ywings if you liked.

a most impressive game that really did work for me. Being as there are tons of addons now with lots of hires packs available it still plays well.

Im not sure how a sequel could be done though. I could dream and drool about a 32 player game with epic space battles. Perhaps even the nirvana that is a control of a capitol ship crewed by human player if so desired (perhaps a commander overview map or battery control etc). It wont happen though as it will be too niche.

7. Re: Diablo III Co-Op Improvement Plans Apr 3, 2013, 04:53 Armengar

<sigh>
diablo2 =/= diablo3
diablo3 was NEVER ever going to be "diablo2 with better graphics". diablo 3 was always going to be a different style of game with some core similarities.

diablo3 was different and worked for some people and not for others. I *did* play battle.net diablo2 . LOD was released a year after D2? I cant remember exactly as I didnt buy it on launch (unlike D2). D2 wasnt exactly multiplayer sparkling on launch either. There were just as many bots, item hacks and dupes - more so that D3 IMHO. I still remember my games getting visits from bots constantly. Not so on D3 anymore.

diablo3 was ok for me. Ive said this time and time again, for the price I paid I have more than gotten enough entertainment out of it. If you dont like it then dont play it. Indeed, haters are gonna hate.
