That's why I like to follow a couple youtube reviewers that share the same taste in games that I do. That's pretty much the only reviews I trust these days (or care about). Other than that, I'll simply use the reputation of the developer and take a chance.
This brings back memories of a time when going out to a field and killing 12 bunnies with a rusty sword was considered “fun”. Oh, the good ol’ days.

When you can’t think of any games to make, just go grab a previously successful game off the shelf, blow the dust off, and sell it again.
No one ever likes the final season/finale of any tv show. 
- Open-world shooter with no co-op/multiplayer? Check
- Open-world with no real reason to explore? Check
- Single-player game with a lousy story? Check
- A control scheme that doesn't carry over well to the PC? Check

Let’s hope so. I gave up on the ps4 version because I suck with the controller in a game like that. So frustrating! I just don’t want to buy it twice at full price.
That type of mmorpg is dead. The genre is dead. You visit an mmorpg news site and they talk about the same 10 games for years. The only thing new is the occasional Star Citizen thread of complaining. Even that’s getting old now.

I’ll be picking this one up the day it’s released. I loved Wildlands and this seems like a more polished version of it. I couldn’t care less which window the download button is on. In fact, I’d rather support Epic than continuing my support for Gabe’s type 2 diabetes. Heath insurance costs are already too high in the States.

I love all that bs hot air. EA is not doing well at all. I guarantee that their operating costs are higher than their quarterly revenue. They’re finally on a massive tailspin and it’s going to take big changes to recover. You can’t support that head count with just Madden. How do you over-promise changes to a game that barely has any gameplay?
The reason I don’t play competitive shooters anymore. There’s just way too many cheating tools you can download these days. Bring on the open world co-op games so I can at least play with my friends.
