Intel, the company who hates benchmarks are back to using benchmarks to bash their competition. And their tests are pathetic

I actually had a lot of fun with Assassin's Creed II, Origins, and Odyssey (I'm not sure why I wasn't a big fan of Black Flag). Origins and Odyssey weren't really assassin games, but more of your typical Ubisoft open-world action/stealth game. They're definitely worth a try on a good sale.

If it wasn't EA, I'd say keep going. Many devs have seen success from a revamp/relaunch. But... it's EA

So there'll be no information on it then?!? Even the WHO have posted countering information on what they've advised. (they won't even recognize the country of Taiwan).
Pandemics are like newborns, neither come with operating manuals.

When scientists and researchers investigate, they don't have all the information in the beginning.
When you see changing recommendations and guidelines it's because reseachers have learned new things.

We are continuing to learn about the coronavirus and will continue to learn for years to come.

In the meantime here are a few simple things you can do to protect yourself and help prevent the spread.
Wear a mask, even after you've been vaccinated.
Don't travel.
Avoid gatherings.
Wash your hands frequently.
And most importantly, don't get medical information from randos on social and/or politicized media.

I’ve purchased many games on egs because they’re usually less than steam, and many times you get a $10 coupon for your next purchase. I don’t even use other steam features anymore because there are better alternatives anyway (e.g. their streaming service sucks with Discord being the better option)

lol, Blizzard used to be my favorite developer late 90s, early 2000s. Now I couldn't give 1 shiz about what they're up to.

I mean sure, I'll prrrrrooobably pick up Diablo 4 just because I've been a Diablo fan since the 90s and even how bad I initially thought D3 was, it turned around Okay after numerous patches. Although I'm not into where it currently sits. It's like Diablo meets WoW.

I'll probably enjoy D4 right where after they drop a few launch patches and clean it up. Then I'll get out right before it gets oversaturated with crap. That's usually shortly after the expansion drops, lol. Rinse and repeat series.

They're not the same Blizzard from the 90s ever since they merged with Activision. Once your company becomes "top heavy" all innovation/creativity gets thrown out the window.

No matter how much money you have, sometimes you need to throw in the towel just to save face and stop embarrassing yourself (image actually has value). Does anyone remember their foray into the smartphone market with the Fire phone? What a disaster that was.

So I've been streaming this game for the past 3 years, almost 4000 hours played, and THIS is the best clip I've ever made, just did it about 10 days ago.

Here's a little setup, it's in the Heroes v Villains mode, which is 4v4 heroes only, so in the clip I pull all 4 enemies to their deaths, but I freeze 3 of them mid-air when they've over the botomless pit while I knock Yoda in with them, Yoda falls in just as the rest unfreeze so I get a pure teamwipe within about 100ms when they all die.

The game is so fucking baller, I honestly don't understand how people have stayed away for 3+ years based on stupid Reddit-fueled internet hate. They've all missed out so much. I've been playing FPS games for 29 years, and DICE games for 20 years, and this is BY FAR the most fun FPS game ever made.

It was boycotted because of the pay2win micro transactions, which apparently worked. But by the time they removed all that crap, most people moved on to other games. But I definitely welcome the freebie. Gonna try it out soon

When nin went offline many people including myself asked blue to check in on him. Blue was able to get a hold of him and it turns out he's okay.
CJParker was cool enough to give notice of leave.
If you go to the stats page you can see how many thousands of users have made accounts throughout the years. I'm always amazed when somebody posts in a thread that I've never seen before and they joined in 2008 or 2003.

Are you really only 6 years old here? Hmm, kind of surprised

Sigh. Time to chalk up my hands and prepare to climb some towers.

Haha! I was too late to make this exact comment.

That said, I've gotten a lot of hours out of the Ubisoft formula games, so I'm cautiously interested.

Massive Games didn't have towers....

No towers in Division 1 and 2, yes, but plenty of busy work. Enjoyable busy work, I loved Division 2 especially to log about 800 hours, of very repetitive but enjoyable grind.

And they even added a climbing tower joke in Far Cry 5
